PGP (The Public Good Projects) is looking for a full time Marketing Analyst to join our growing Insights & Analytics (I&A) team. This position is ideal for a curious, data-driven, strategic thinker with 5+ years of experience for analyzing communications or marketing campaign performance across a range of scopes and topics. As a Marketing Analyst, your primary role will be to translate a diverse range of qualitative and quantitative data into valuable insights that guide campaign strategy, community management, and content production.

The Marketing Analyst will report to the Director of Communications and collaborate closely with peers on the Research, Digital Strategy, Influencer Marketing, Collective Impact, Editorial and Content Production departments. This is a full-time, fully-remote position that is eligible for benefits. Candidates must have the ability to work from their own home office.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

The Marketing Analyst will work across a number of public health campaigns and initiatives to contribute to multi-channel performance monitoring and optimization, measurement planning, formative research, and target and messaging research. Partnering with cross-functional teams, you’ll take ownership of marketing data and communicate it in a way that empowers teams to test, learn, and optimize how our campaigns impact in the communities they’re designed to reach.

  • Develop and deliver weekly metrics to guide ongoing campaign optimization
  • Monitor multi-channel campaign performance against KPIs and industry benchmarks, and develop client-facing metrics reporting documents
  • Develop and optimize interactive dashboards for various internal stakeholders, e.g. the I&A team, influencer marketing, partnerships, editorial, paid media, etc.
  • Leverage a range of social media monitoring tools to assess campaign engagement, guide messaging recommendations and track misinformation
  • Contribute to various components of campaign strategy development, such as target segmentation and digital personas, brand/messaging research, competitive audits, and measurement planning
  • Support leadership with background information for proposal development
  • Stay current on trends and updates in digital media, audience research, web analytics, data management, and other relevant digital tools
  • Staff management and mentorship opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis in a marketing environment with a focus on digital and social platform performance measurement, behavior change, and/or multi-channel marketing strategy
  • Experience weaving qualitative and quantitative data from primary and secondary sources together to tell a story that inspires innovative content and experiences
  • Proficient using third-party digital marketing platforms and analytics tools i.e. Google Analytics, Google Data Studio/Tableau, Adwords, Mailchimp, Hubspot or other CRM platforms, as well as media monitoring or social listening tools i.e. Brandwatch, Meltwater, or Zignal.
  • Extensive time spent number-crunching in Excel. Statistics and coding experience are a big plus
  • Experience designing and analyzing marketing/brand surveys. Experience with Qualtrics is a plus
  • Attention to detail in communication, time management and data. Expects high-quality deliverables of themselves and others. Proven track record of supporting multiple projects concurrently with tight deadlines
  • Flexibility and eagerness to identify, learn, and use new and emerging technologies
  • Aligned to PGP’s values and passionate about public health
  • Experience in healthcare and/or public health a plus but not required
  • Agency experience preferred, but not required
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
