The Role

As the Social Media & Influencer Manager, you are a detail-oriented, mid-level leader and go-to within the social media team. You act as an Account Lead on social accounts and provide coaching and guidance to one or more direct reports within the agency. Youll sign off on day-to-day account work and use your account experience and industry foresight to assist with client relations and client management, leading sometimes nuanced conversations, both in-person and over the phone.This position will likely turn into a full-time role with the agency.

Duties and Responsibilities

Account + Client Management

Lead the development of social media strategies, creative activations, and social content pillars for individual accounts

Assist in the execution of approved social media strategies and activations, with close adherence to timelines and budgets, as well as proactive internal and client- facing communication

Collaborate with Prim teams on influencer initiatives to monitor KPIs, building tracking systems, and report on efforts to client contacts

Occasionally assist with developing new social media business proposals and presentations, and participate in new business efforts where appropriate

Develop and deliver regular updates to client through in-person presentations, conference calls, and written communications

Deepen agency relationships with influencers, potential brand partners, and travel industry players

Develop strong relationships with internal team, agency partners, industry network, and of course, clients

Monitor client satisfaction and take appropriate action to resolve client issues and concerns

Paid Social

Serve as the point person for paid social media efforts client accounts, making sure organic efforts are supported and maximized, with ad spend to increase results. Develop strategies for social and PPC ads, and monitor and maximize results

Provide recommendations for client ad budgets, overseeing said budgets, flighting for all managed platforms, managing strategy, and campaign optimizations

Define requirements, tasks, and resources associated with paid social strategy and execution: includes account structure, management, targeting, budget management, landing page optimization, analytics and tracking, ROI and retention recommendations

Regularly identifying one-off paid opportunities for clients (e.g., Readers Choice Awards, link-building, etc.) and create plans and action items for implementing a paid effort that can be distributed to team members and clients for easily implementation

Oversee the full implementation of the Facebook pixel on client website and navigate conversations with the client, website team, and booking engine (providing the clients internal team with guidelines for placement)

Reporting

Final review of data across several social media platforms and create monthly, bi-annual, or annual reports to develop data-driven analysis for insights

Propose and implement new ways to classify and organize data to gain actionable insights into organic post performance

Collaborate with clients third party agencies to coordinate implementation and access to any necessary tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Pixel implementation, etc.).

Help to make sure any conversion tracking is correctly in place to measure results, optimizations, and future strategy development

Facilitate audits for clients tied to overall social media presence including organic and paid social media

Continually tweak and update reporting processes and reports as new tools for measurement become available.

Content Production

Lead content creation (video, photography, graphic) at on-property shoots + content missions: planning, executing, editing post-production, client delivery

Review content mission shot list and itinerary

Source and approve models/influencers for content shoots

Help establish clients social brand and consistently delivering on-brand copy and content to support their aesthetic and voice

Manage copywriting of captions and campaigns

Produce brand graphics as needed for feed posts and Stories

Schedule posts and Stories for clients social media accounts

Manage daily engagement, messaging and commenting for clients social pages

Initiate partnerships, promotions, collaborations, ambassador programs, etc. and coordinate content, deliverables and execution

Publish content and copy that sparks engagement

Influencer Marketing

Manage individual influencer campaigns to meet client KPIs

Serve as the primary client contact for ongoing influencer marketing work

Research, audit and contact new influencers across verticals to bring them onto client campaigns

Negotiate pricing and costs for influencer campaigns

Monitor coverage for clients and their competitors to drive campaign strategy

Create client reporting documents with key insights

Help create strategic slide decks for pitching new influencer marketing business

Oversee or help implement creative execution for influencer campaigns

Integrate with other public relations and social media team members to create complex brand campaigns

Team Leadership

Begin managing a postgrad and/or account coordinator as a direct report, offering coaching, career guidance and support

Other

And other tasks, projects, or duties as required

Experience

College Degree required

5 7 years of experience with digital marketing and/or social media, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience leading projects on social accounts

Proficient using tools to measure social media ROI and create reporting such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics

Proficient using content management tools such as HeyOrca, Sprout Social, etc.

Proficient implementing paid social media campaigns on Facebook and Instagram

Proficient editing photos (Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom)

Proficient in Facebook Business Manager, Power editor, Ads Manager, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Canva

Experience

working with influencers on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook

Proficient using Klear Influencer Marketing Program or similar platform

Agency Experience Preferred

Hospitality and/or lifestyle industry experience preferred

Requirements

Compensation

$26 per hour

20-30 hours per week

Commission on new business

Flexible work environment. Work from home or in the office as needed

This position will likely turn into a full-time role. Full-time employees receive:
