TechStyle Fashion Group is looking for a Marketing Manager, Retail - Savage X Fenty.

As the Retail Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating and delivering successful in-store marketing plans that drive brand awareness and produce meaningful and sustainable results. Your goal is to improve traffic to our stores, drive consumer engagement through compelling in-store activations, all while focusing on conversion and member experiences. You will need to collaborate cross functionality to develop customized store strategy that is location specific and successfully execute promotional plans and programs. You will need to stay current with competitive marketplace trends and best practices in retail while always thinking through an omnichannel lens.

You will report to the Director of Omnichannel Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Create retail marketing campaigns to drive traffic to retail locations with a focus on sell-through, member experience and innovation.
  • Own the development of the strategic retail marketing and creative brief and partner with internal creative and channel experts on the execution of the in-store marketing plan, inclusive of signage, email, direct mail, digital, social, etc.
  • Ensure all retail marketing strategies and experiences are scalable, with flawless execution (including rollout at store) delivered on time and on budget.
  • Collaborate closely with other marketing teams (brand marketing & acquisition) to integrate other communication to create programs that align with both retail and brand objectives and embed that into unique retail experiences.
  • In partnership with key stakeholders, contribute to the strategic vision for Savage X Fenty retail and drive initiatives that support that vision.
  • Partner with internal teams and outside vendors on the creation, delivery and execution of all retail marketing strategies and materials.
  • Partner closely with the brand marketing team to build retail marketing plans and playbooks for events including product launch campaigns, new store openings, virtual events, etc. Partner with store leads to ensure consistency in execution.
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders like the brand marketing, social & influencer marketing teams to leverage strategic marketing campaigns and brand ambassadors to execute unique and on brand in-store programs and activations.
  • Travel to store openings and events and ensure execution of all marketing strategy and plans.
  • Partner with all store leads and managers to align on current and upcoming marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze and understand in detail ‘the why’ behind the results and formulate action plans on how to accelerate or shift gears, collaborating with senior leadership regarding strategic changes as necessary.
  • Partner with visual merch team on strategies for merchandising and category management within the retail channel.
  • Present and communicate retail-marketing programs to key stakeholders as needed.
  • Manage and develop talented marketing team member(s).

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated, 5+ years of experience in building and owning retail marketing strategies for omnichannel companies
  • Experience in traditional retail marketing and brand marketing campaigns
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree (preferred)
  • Strong network of industry contacts within retail, marketing and licensing.
  • Strong connection to latest trends, innovator and out-of-the-box thinker
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, process-driven but also full of creative ideas and big-picture thinking
  • Are a cross-functional leader with a strong background of effectively working across and with multiple stakeholders to establish buy-in for go-to-market strategy
  • Must be comfortable in a high pressure, fast paced business environment
  • Possess the ability to communicate complex information and implications both verbally and in written presentations
  • Are a true team player and not afraid to roll your sleeves up to get things done
  • Have a bias for action and proactive thinking
  • Demonstrate the ability to grow and manage direct report(s) with diverse skill sets and backgrounds
  • Experience in consumer, apparel or lifestyle brands is highly preferred
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate with many stakeholders and keep driving momentum.

*note: this role will begin remote with the intention to return to in-office in El Segundo in Fall 2021.
