Director of Partnerships and Events

Vacation® is a new “leisure-enhancing” sunscreen brand from Poolsuite FM, a viral internet radio station that pairs super-summer music with 80s VHS visuals. Taking cues from Poolsuite FM’s nostalgia-fueled world, Vacation® hearkens back to the sun-soaked days of 80s beach culture (think Hawaiian Tropic circa 1986), while ushering it into the 21st century using the best in modern suncare science. Vacation® launched in April and has received great press from Vanity Fair, Fast Company, Forbes, Byrdie, WWD, and more.

The Director of Partnerships and Events (DPE) is a key member of the Vacation® team. Working closely with the co-founders, the DPE will set the strategy for events, partnerships, and influencer marketing, and will own planning and execution to bring the above concepts to life. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional project and people manager, have industry knowledge and enthusiasm, be proactive and meticulously organized, and be willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done.

For the right person, this is an exciting opportunity to get in at the ground floor of an extremely popular and rapidly growing start-up that will soon become a mainstay at beaches, on yachts, at pools, and at pools on yachts. Working with some of the best creative and marketing minds in the business, you’ll have the opportunity to bring your gifts to an extremely active community of loyal, kind, generous, excited, motivated, punctual, enthusiastic, creative, group of literally hundreds of thousands of people, immediately and daily.

  • Work with Vacation®’s co-founders to set influencer strategy; own execution.
  • Lead a team of part-time interns to manage day-to-day execution of micro-influencer strategy, coaching on outreach and tracking toward strategy goals.

  • Collect and evaluate qualitative and quantitative data from marketing campaigns to measure success and progress.
