Social Media Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead social strategy and drive meaningful growth for our brand our business while partnering with the creative, marketing and planning teams to create relevant, optimized content across all social channels.
• Roll out targeted social campaigns that align with business goals, brand building, community growth, product launches, promotional periods, and other brand milestones.
• Grow followers and brand advocates by improving engagement across all social channels.
• Design and work with brand managers and creative teams to create social assets.
• Identify and work with influencers for marketing campaigns, paid influencer marketing opportunities and marketing initiatives. Maintaining an ongoing relationship with influencers.
• Partner with our Content Strategist and Creative Team to guide our influencer partners to create content that aligns with the brand and supports the goal of product launches, promotional periods, and brand initiatives.
• Develop social metrics reporting, lead hind-sighting, identify trends and regularly communicate insights, key learnings, and recommendations to the team. Analyze and translate anecdotal / qualitative data into action.
• Work closely with our data specialist to measure the value and impact of our social media channels and campaigns. Use data to optimize and iterate on the approach.
• Build and maintain all social media communities and become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate. Monitor, listen and respond to users on a daily basis, conduct online advocacy and open streams for cross-promotion.
• Oversee all contests and giveaways leveraging across all channels with a goal of engagement and growth.
• Stay informed on the constantly changing landscape of social media, spotting industry and cultural trends, best practices and emerging technology and risk.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years working in social media, community management, or a digital marketing role.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok etc.
• Analytical approach to social channels understanding the importance of balancing brand-building with conversion and customer insights.
• Basic knowledge of paid social acquisition.
• Team player and collaborator who maintains composure in fast-paced situations.
• High attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Creative and strategic in nature with the ability to think outside the box and articulate big ideas.
• Very strong design, editing, and copywriting skills.
• In-depth knowledge of analytics software, content management systems and SEO tools.
• Above average computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required; knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, video editing, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
• Interest and passion for nutrition and the health industry preferred.
