We are in search of a Vice President of Talent Acquisition to lead our influencer marketing media buying efforts on behalf of our clients. As our clients continue to grow their influencer marketing media budgets, we need an experienced influencer marketing professional to help us identify, recruit, and negotiate media buys with influencers and talent agents.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who has significant experience in the influencer space, and has previously negotiated branded integration deals with, or on behalf of social media talent. As the VP of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for using our proprietary tools and existing talent agency relationships to identify new talent, execute deals, measure the overall success of media buying campaigns, and drive growth for clients.

As the VP of Talent Acquisition, you will lead a team of four direct reports. These current employees are responsible for negotiating deals, managing contracts, ensuring influencers have the resources they need to create great content, paying creators on time, and providing performance reports to the clients. They will support your efforts and can be assigned to tasks at your discretion. It is also expected that you mentor and train direct reports to further their professional development and personal growth.

Responsibilities of Role:

  • Responsible for spending more than $1MM+ a month on behalf of our clients.
  • Oversee and grow influencer marketing media buying campaigns.
  • Work with clients to develop campaign strategy, talking points, and KPIs.
  • Identify talent and influencers for brand campaigns and programs that maximize ROI and achieve campaign KPIs.
  • Build relationships with our talent agency partners and creators as well as find new partners to help grow the program.
  • Propose, negotiate and execute deals with talent agency partners and creators.
  • Ensure the highest level of brand safety and regulatory compliance throughout the campaign.
  • Keep campaign reporting up to date and develop insights around campaign performance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in influencer marketing or talent representation.
  • Intimate knowledge of YouTube, Instagram, and podcast platforms.
  • Intimate knowledge of the branded integration negotiation process.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate with both talent and clients.
  • Strong campaign performance analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong leadership experience. Management experience is a plus.
