Expected outcome:

This role will lead our social media marketing efforts, helping set strategy, build and deploy content, grow our brand credibility and our online communities. You will assure our brand and leadership tone and visual identity, develop positive engagement with leaders and potential partners in our space, and effectively manage email communications and social metrics.

Responsibilities

Social media

  • Understand our core brand strategy and ethos, and develop and manage a social strategy with concrete goals that supports these
  • Directly manage brand’s social presence and online communities - Insta, LinkedIn, FB, Twitter and make recommendations for what, where, why, and how often
  • Grow our brand credibility and social following
  • A/B test messaging with different audiences
  • Build engagement with key leaders and influencers in the space
  • Develop effective copy and content
  • Can be trusted to know when to engage and when to ask for further direction
  • Targeted ad buys

Email marketing metrics

  • Manage email lists of potential partners and interested diners
  • Set-up, write and manage drip email campaigns
  • Effectively develop, measure, and report on social and email efforts
  • Run online and IRL focus groups

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of direct social marketing experience preferably with a pre-product launch start-up and/or food consumer goods company
  • Experience building, buying, and A/B testing FB/Instagram and Google ads, and using social post scheduling tools
  • Understands marketing strategy, product marketing, product launch planning
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills - applying values to tone and voice
  • Emotionally mature and self-directed with a keen interest in a more sustainable planet
  • Experience with surveying, marketing metrics, and customer service
  • Event marketing experience, ad buying/scheduling/testing and drip campaign development experience a big plus
  • Understands influencer marketing; has experience engaging social influencers for product
  • Interested in growing as the company grows and building a social team
  • Experience with the Google Workspace (G-Suite) and Microsoft Office, and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite tools
