Influencer Marketing Specialist (Gilly Hicks)
The Gilly Hicks Influencer Marketing Specialist will lead day-to-day influencer activities for the new Gilly Hicks brand under Hollister’s Head of PR & Influencer Marketing. This lead will work hand-in-hand with our agency of record and internal partners to create best-in-class influencer strategy and execute influencer-related marketing activations across IG and TikTok, including but not limited to the identification, vetting and relationship management of influencers, review and approval of content as well as coordination of influencer live shops, ideation and implementation of new and innovative influencer marketing strategies, influencer community building, influencer trend monitoring, data and reporting, and gifting and product coordination.
What will you be doing?
- Assist in growing the Gilly Hicks influencer marketing programs with a particular focus on creating symbiotic partnerships with creators in order to develop content that works hard for the brand in order to drive mass brand awareness, build affinity, and encourage product consideration and conversion.
- Work with our agency on influencer identification, vetting, risk, and relationship management of influencers, as well as review and approval of content
- Work alongside our product teams and product assistant to develop gifting and product seeding strategies that focus on priority product
- Work alongside our affiliate & growth lead to test bottom funnel tactics including live shop, and explore new ways to measure conversion
- Closely partner with Gilly’s Creative team to ensure total pull-through of influencer marketing initiatives and visibility of talent/content throughout the creative development funnel
- Work with agency to ensure content is up to standard, FTC compliant, and we are constantly testing and learning
- Establish influencer deliverables, coordinate contract reviews with agency and legal team
- Partner with other channel owners (social, paid media, creative direction, e-comm, etc.) to maximize exposure of influencer content
- Drive clear program performance goals and reporting, including weekly, monthly, seasonal, and status/hindsight deliverables
- Accurately deliver against established annual budget
- Continuously monitor industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to ensure the brands stay at the forefront of influencer marketing
What will you need to bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising or related field
- 3-4 years of experience in influencer marketing across the funnel, preferably for a Gen Z brand
- Expertise in Instagram, TikTok – bonus for Pinterest!
- Demonstrated understanding of Gen-Z consumers of all genders
- Experience managing an external agency vendor/partner a plus
- Some existing relationships with relevant influencers a plus
- Gifting, seeding, affiliate experience a plus
- High level of critical thinking ability and curiosity, particularly in balancing multiple projects and priorities
- Very strong project management skills (including timeline development/management, budget)
- Collaborative leader, able to rally cross-functional team members to work effectively and efficiently together
- Strong relationship development/management and written/verbal communication skills
