We are looking for a Paid Media Lead to join Micron’s Corporate Thought Leadership team, part of our Global Communications and Marketing organization (GCM).

You will be responsible for helping bring a significant multimillion-dollar advertising budget to market across several global regions, through a variety of tactics including paid social, endemic and programmatic, search, sponsorships and speakerships, and influencer marketing. You will drive the day-to-day management and successful delivery of our paid media strategy, executed in partnership with agency support. We are looking for a strategic marketing leader, who successfully merges creativity and a data-driven mindset, while excelling within a fast-paced global organization.

Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

  • Reporting into and working closely with the Sr. Manager, Global Advertising and Social Marketing, you will work to develop, bring to market, and optimize a diversified paid media strategy for Micron, both for evergreen paid media efforts and across campaigns.
  • Support the creation of audience-first campaign strategies with a focus on driving Micron’s key messages as a leader in technology innovation, manufacturing excellence, and corporate citizenship for all.
  • Lead day-to-day interaction with the media agencies, helping us deliver across paid social, endemic, programmatic, paid search, influencer collaborations, speakerships, and sponsorships.
  • Support the process for briefing agencies in on our broad GCM goals as well as individual campaigns.
  • Lead the paid media planning process including complete go-to-market timelines, media plan review and approval cycle, ongoing paid media spend tracking, and regular reporting.
  • Collaborate with and drive productive outcomes across GCM teams including, but not limited to, content and integrated editorial teams, studio design team, social media team, Scrum + BU teams, web team, and our partners in Asia – working to align on approved messaging, advertising copy, creative asset packages, translated / localized advertising assets, and ultimately delivering all paid media efforts on-time.
  • Carefully analyze campaign performance; evaluate and interpret performance-related KPIs; package and deliver accurate data and actionable recommendations to GCM Leadership for future campaigns.
  • Continuously propose optimizations to campaign planning process, paid media execution, and reporting framework and assure complete quality control of campaigns.
  • Research keywords, market trends, and competition to ensure we are competitive in the market and never at risk for cannibalizing our own media spend with multiple campaigns in market at once.
  • Stay keenly up to date on relevant industry trends, new ad products and media partners, best practices, and benchmarks.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive responsibility in digital marketing and paid media / advertising.
  • Experience working in a global team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for paid media and understanding its business impact, and an in-depth knowledge of digital marketing platforms and trends.
  • Track record of delivering performant paid media campaigns, with strong understanding of how efforts across paid media integrate with other digital channels / platforms.
  • Highly analytical in nature, with experience using social technology and data to measure impact and determine improvements.
  • Previous hands-on experience managing agency relationships.
  • Strong, proactive and highly organized communicator.
  • Demonstrated success refining and scaling innovative marketing programs in fast-paced organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the Enterprise B2B Tech space and/or semi-conductor industry
  • Excellent attitude towards working in a collaborative and cross-functional environment, with a large number of internal and external partners.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, advertising or related fields.
