The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The person hired for the position Global Demand Generation Lead will provide subject matter expertise and best practice sharing to business and country marketing teams on key integrated marketing specializations: digital marketing, social media, content strategy, marketing automation, account-based marketing, lead generation, media planning and buying, influencer marketing, sales enablement, messaging and campaign strategy.

Here, You Will Make An Impact By

  • Partner with Global Business team on development of annual B2B Marketing Plan, including key priorities, new product introductions, target market segments
  • Manage lead generation and nurturing strategies that leverage marketing technology stack (e.g., Eloqua, Salesforce); ensure lead management process between marketing and sales
  • Enable B2B marketing campaign activation in 40+ countries across the world; frequent and ongoing partnership with international Integrated Marketing counterparts, sharing best practices and optimizing against benchmarks
  • Define key messaging for Global Campaigns that are driven by customer insights that resonate with audiences globally
  • Lead development and management of Global campaign toolkits, including: -Creative Assets: Videos, Photos & Visuals, Animations, Social media assets-Digital Experiences: Website, Landing Pages, Email, Marketing Automation-Media Planning Strategy: Audience targeting, Account-Based Marketing, tactical mix-Channel and Sales Enablement: Brochures, Sell Sheets, Social Selling, Presentations
  • Manage relationships with creative, media, PR, and other agencies, managing from briefing through execution, on time and on budget

Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Ten (10) combined years experience in integrated marketing, brand marketing, digital marketing, B2B lead generation, and/or marketing communications

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • MBA
  • Prior experience assisting with the creation of a rolling marketing plan tied to business plan
  • Proven experience solving and communicating complex marketing strategies to cross-functional teams. Must be able to organize large amounts of information and track and meet many competing deadlines
  • Prior experience writing creative briefs

Travel: May include up to 10% international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Location: Maplewood, MN
