Social Media Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate looking for a career in social media, digital marketing and influencer management. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has a proven track record in the beauty or fashion industry and is creative and thinks outside the box. This is a full time, in-office position for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and a fantastic team in the heart of NYC.
Job Responsibilities:
● Develop social media strategy for each of our beauty brands including copy, aesthetic, and photo inspiration for Instagram
● Create a social media calendars on a monthly basis
● Create engaging content for social media platforms consistent with brand direction
● Manage Instagram pages, stories, swipe ups and DMs daily across all 4 brands
● Identify influencers and negotiate contracts directly or with agents for successful partnerships
● Work with Influencers and develop influencer marketing strategy to create effective partnerships
● Monitor social media channels and review analytics
● Daily community management via Instagram, Facebook, & TikTok
● Source content creators for new and exciting content (both for social platforms and for other internal projects)
● Weekly and monthly KPI reporting and analysis on direct channels
● Continuously identify areas of opportunity and improvements
● Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
● Create and manage influencers events
● Lead paid social activations and monitor reach and analytics
● Send out monthly social media calendar to international distributors
● Leverage user generated content
● Continue to benchmark and stay up-to-date on ALL industry news and social media happenings (i.e. trending Tik Toks, Social Media Reels, etc)
Education and Experience:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field
● 3-6 years’ experience with Social Media Marketing
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
● Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
● Direct experience using social media management tools (Social Bakers)
● Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
● Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro) is a plus.
The ideal candidate is creative, quick thinking, and tech-savvy. This position will be responsible for coordinating and directing all digital and social media activities using all applicable platforms.
