Sr Marketing Specialist Project Planning
Job Information
As our Senior Marketing Specialist in Project Planning, you will provide marketing planning leadership for North America marketing campaigns, initiatives, and projects spanning Doosan Bobcat sales programs, product and brand campaigns, and recruitment efforts. As a project planner, you will be responsible for planning, managing and executing campaigns and programs with key audiences through messaging/positioning, content, design, sponsorships, media planning and more ensuring deeper and longer-lasting relationships with the U.S. market, both within Doosan Bobcat and externally. A project planner is responsible for turning the strategist’s vision into reality. This is a high-visibility, high-volume, high-accountability position that plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s growth trajectory.
Role & Responsibility
- Brand & Project Plan Execution: Oversee development and execution of integrated brand and product campaigns across all channels.
- Serve as input for all non-product, non-dealer focused planning: Partner with several internal teams to ensure that all programs that need marketing planning are supported (all constituents & work not led by Product, Website & Dealer Planning). Primary stakeholders include: Brand, Internal Comms, Human Resources, National Accounts.
- Campaign and Content Development: Develop campaign plan to deliver on a media, communication, content and design strategy and in alignment to marketing and organizational initiatives.
- Experience Design: Plan cross-functional brand experience design programs to create connections with our brand among internal employees, prospects, customers, dealerships, partners, and more. Ensure all touchpoints reflect and represent the Doosan Bobcat brand.
- Corporate Sponsorships/Influencer Marketing/Events: Support corporate sponsorships, influencer campaigns, and events (digital/physical) in generating awareness, and driving engagement with target audiences.
- Budget Accountability: Plan deliverables against the annual brand budget and determine the appropriate allocation of spend to deliver initiatives on-time, in-full that support the overall business objectives. Forecast and report actuals on a monthly basis.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Develop deep relationships and provide cross-functional leadership on planning initiatives across the organization.
- Executive Presence: Ability to communicate at executive levels and influence key stakeholders across the organization. Understands how to connect brand activities to business goals and initiatives.
- Set Ambitious Goals: Set measurable, attainable-yet-audacious monthly/quarterly/annual goals for brand team, with properly assigned KPIs and hold team accountable for delivering against those goals; reporting KPIs on a regular basis.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in journalism, communications, marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive marketing and brand experience, including previous brand campaign experience.
- Proven ability to implement and lead brand experience design programs and campaigns.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of digital and traditional marketing channel strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to understand results and derive actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experienced simplifying complex messages for different audiences through storytelling and experiences.
- Experience building and managing high-performing brand and creative teams to deliver outstanding results, on-time through accountability and performance management.
- Analytical, and data-driven; uses data to gather insights to inform decisions.
- Experience building brand awareness using a variety of techniques to bring brands from an unknown to a well-known brand in the industry.
- Confident, creative, and dynamic leader with excellent verbal communication skills, as well as strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills with a roll up your sleeves and can-do attitude.
- Success in an organization and a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Strong executive-level communications skills.
- Travel: 10%.
