SUMMARY OF WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORThe Earthling Co. is seeking an Influencer Marketing Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis (20-30 hours/week). In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, onboarding, and cultivating relationships with content producers and influencers.
The ideal candidate will have very strong communication skills (both written and verbal), excellent multi tasking skills, an eye for engaging content on social media, and the flexibility to thrive in a start-up environment. You should possess prior influencer marketing experience and feel comfortable leading your own projects.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support all aspects of our influencer marketing program, including:
    • Researching influencers to identify on-brand creators to work with
    • Initiating and maintaining professional communications with influencers/creators, and ensuring a transparent and clear partnership process
    • Placing large volume of product gifting orders for influencers/creators, and following up with shipment tracking as necessary
    • Managing payment contracts with influencers/creators
    • Lead influencer outreach for new product launches, including developing a strategic list of influencers to gift products to ahead of launch, as well as during and post-launch, and developing any necessary collateral in collaboration with cross-functional partners
  • Maintain detailed tracking of outreach efforts as well as timely dissemination of collected influencer content to Marketing Team and relevant external partners
  • Maintain detailed tracking of influencer posts, post engagement, and gifting costs to ensure efficacy and ROI of our influencer marketing program
  • Assist with editorial content planning for our social media channels and identifying gaps in our influencer/UGC content
  • Bring new opportunities, ideas, and experiments to TEC’s influencer marketing program
  • Stay up to date with trends on social channels like TikTok and Instagram, and strategically leverage any trends applicable to our influencer program


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent related experience
  • Must have prior working experience in influencer marketing
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Google Apps, and strong working knowledge of influencer metrics and tracking
  • Strong understanding and passion for influencer diversity across many categories
  • Interest in and knowledge of sustainability and the zero waste movement
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work well individually as well cross functionally
  • Working knowledge of current influencer and social media trends across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and any other emerging social media platforms
  • Multitasking and analytical skills; highly organized and detail oriented
  • A ‘no task is too small or too large’ type of attitude
  • Experience in DTC eCommerce or CPG companies a plus
