ZYYAH is looking for a Social Media Specialist who will be a key part of our Brand & Marketing team and will help align the ZYYAH social experience with the overall content strategies to achieve business goals and objectives. This role is responsible for managing and executing social media strategies for multiple companies within the ZYYAH family. This role will drive initiatives to competitively position, influence market differentiation, and effectively communicate the value proposition of the ZYYAH family of brands.
This includes the development and adherence oversight of its brand persona, visual identity and communication framework, and related guidelines and standards. Additionally, the role guides the creative strategy and development for campaigns and communications, asset design, and content generation to communicate the brand story.
Overall, the Social Media Specialist’s role supports Brand & Marketing activities, ensuring the ZYYAH family of brands’ story and user experience across all social platforms strives to influence prospects, engage customers, inspire partners and build communities rooted in our purpose of making homeownership radically simple.
Responsibilities:
- Social media strategy and execution in a start-up environment.
- Take a concept from ideation to completion.
- Resourceful and diligent in research. Keep up with all social and industry trends to ensure each brand is positioned well and maintaining best practices.
- Ability to navigate and prioritize requests for social media support and ongoing management for multiple brands within the ZYYAH family while maintaining—brand persona, visual identity and communication framework, and related guidelines and standards.
- Work with Content Marketing Manager and Brand & marketing Lead to develop creative strategies, campaigns, and communications.
- Ability to partner with outside creatives if necessary, to complete projects.
- Has high attention to detail and approaches work in an organized manner.
- Develop a deep understanding of our multiple audiences — homeowners, real estate professionals, and home service professionals
- Customer insight planning, competitive analysis, and trend identification to ensure the ZYYAH family of brands remains at the forefront of homeownership and management.
- Regularly report on brand awareness and sentiment, competitive landscape, and market trends to ensure goals are being met and initiating a change in strategy if trending behind goals
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of marketing experience
- 2+ years of experience with social media management
- 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration or related field, OR appropriate combination of education and required experience
- Experience with social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Sprout, Later, etc.)
- Passion for social media storytelling and experience in contributing to the development of creative strategy
- Strong level of skill for social content curation across key social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok).
- Strong ability to facilitate ideation, develop goal-oriented social media strategies and manage the execution of associated deliverables
- Deep understanding of social media performance measures, proactive management to identify areas of opportunity, and ability to prioritize and pivot when needed.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational & project management skills, with an agile mindset.
- The ability to balance multiple priorities maintaining the quality of work and adherence to deadlines
- Professional oral and written communication skills to facilitate effective and collaborative relationships and presentations
- Experience in B2B and B2C marketing with an in-house marketing team or a Branding, Marketing, or Advertising Agency
- Experience curating, coordinating, and executing an influencer marketing strategy.
- Experience with asset design and content generation is not required but would be a bonus.
- Experience with Monday, Jira, Confluence, and/or Slack a plus.
