Director of Global Talent Acquisition
CreatorIQ is looking for our leader of our global Talent Acquisition team. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role will identify what our philosophy should be for finding and assessing talent. You will partner with hiring managers across the organization to focus on providing a red-carpet candidate experience, leading with data and experience when consulting on business decisions, and driving an effective interview process that evaluates candidates against our high bar for performance, future potential, and culture-add. This role will be responsible for the full life cycle of recruiting, including things like:
- Developing our global employment brand and recruiting strategy.
- Working with managers as a sounding board and brainstorming on what role would complement the team and move us forward as a business.
- Sourcing candidates using every tool in your possession from cold calling, networking, job postings, employee referrals, LinkedIn connections, childhood friends, etc. to identify a diverse slate of candidates.
- Assessing candidates for qualifications and cultural fit. Help hiring managers to build their own interview strategy and give them guidance on the legal boundaries. Act as a champion for candidates throughout their journey by ensuring they feel supported and set up for success, especially in a virtual setting.
- Helping managers conduct insightful reference checks.
- Successfully closing the deal in a way that leaves no question about why we are the right job for them, and a counteroffer isn't enticing, while also working with an appropriate salary that meets our internal parity and market place philosophy.
- Create a positive manager and candidate experience by setting expectations, communicating timely updates, and providing actionable feedback.
- Developing a top-notch internship program is a goal for us in 2022.
If you have a strong knowledge of basic employment law and can handle generalist HR situations as well as recruitment – we won't be able to survive without you!
We are looking for a member of our team who:
- Has worked as a seasoned star recruiter within the technology world. If you have experience with building and leading great recruiting teams, you will move to the top of the list!
- Prioritizes a seamless, remarkable candidate experience.
- Has an aptitude for assessing the intangible aspects of a candidate accurately.
- Builds relationships easily internally and externally; can maintain contacts over long periods of time.
- Likes taking the initiative to tackle tasks and improve work processes. Proven success in bringing new ideas to meet talent acquisition needs.
- Moves with speed, because we are a fast-paced, ever changing environment that likes results.
- Feels the internet is a necessity as a recruitment and research tool; able to leverage technology to enhance sourcing for qualified candidates. Must be proficient with ATS systems and MS Office.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication (written, verbal, presentation), negotiation and contracting skills.
- Enjoys being hands on; a Jack or Jan of all trades will be a superstar here!
