Role Description
The Senior Media Buyer, Paid Social will be responsible for planning, optimizing, implementing and analyzing paid media campaigns on behalf of our clients on multiple platforms. This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, touching all aspects of a campaign while it’s in the market. This role is responsible for proper and timely execution of all assigned work. They are a channel through which the agency works to serve and develop client effectiveness and profitability.
Responsibilities
Account Management
- Work with account, influencer and creative teams to manage and meet all deadlines on paid media deliverables for assigned clients
- Manage timelines for creative refreshes with creative team
- Provide support to account management team on all client issues related to paid media
- Cultivate and strengthen client relationships built on trust, strong communication skills, and unwavering dedication to account management
- Identify and propose new upsell opportunities for our clients
- Ensure the timely execution of plans, campaigns, and projects to assure earnings, growth, and profit goals are achieved
Media Buying Operations / Client Services
- Manage daily relationships with assigned clients and internal account/creative teams
- Execute flawless paid social media campaigns and optimize towards client objectives within Facebook Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, etc.
- Ensure all Socialfly QA processes are followed before a campaign is launched
- Manage bids and budgets across campaign flights to ensure cost efficiency and fulfillment
- Develop and maintain asset delivery form with client and internal creative team
- Perform daily pacing of all active campaigns to assure spend goals are being reached
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the client’s business objectives and audience in order to identify optimization opportunities
- Direct and manage the daily work flow of all client programs, including initiation and management of projects across departments
- Build, optimize, and report on campaigns in Facebook Business Manager and other platforms
- Manage several social platforms simultaneously
- Keep an up to date log of all optimizations made during a campaigns flight
- Stay up-to-date on existing social channels and digital advertising to discover and pitch opportunities for new clients
- Ensure that all client paid media KPIs are met
Requirements
- Must have 3+ years minimum of proven experience in paid social media, with a demonstrated success in working with clients and internal departments to develop multi-faceted media strategies
- Must have experience working with industry tools (Facebook Ads Manager, Facebook Business Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, SnapAds, LinkedIn, Pinterest For Business etc)
- Prior agency experience a plus
- Must be a self-driven multi-tasker who’s comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, and show strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
- Must be comfortable presenting and selling ideas to clients
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
