Assembly Media Inc., a subsidiary of Daniel J. Edelman Holdings, Inc., has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Supervisor, Influencer to join the Microsoft team. This role would help drive influencer strategy across multiple Microsoft brands including Surface, Windows, Edge, Teams and M365 focusing on the work the brand is doing to engage this ever-growing audience to increase awareness of their products and services.

This position requires strong account management and project management skills, the ability to supervise a busy account, including managing staff and serving as a daily counterpart to clients, and a background working with influencers and/or content creators. You will be charged with introducing clients to the power of building compelling stories through influencer marketing campaigns. Our ideal candidates will have a passion and knowledge of influencer partnerships across all tiers of talent, branded video content, social platforms, digital media, the talent management space, and a proven track record of prospecting, negotiating and closing deals to support and fulfill our strategic objectives.

Account Management

  • Provide strategic counsel, guidance and leadership to clients and staff in the areas of influencer programs, campaign development, content strategy and paid media
  • Work as part of integrated teams, infusing influencer into PR, marketing and paid programs
  • Effectively draft new scopes of work, assist in managing staff utilization to meet targets, overseeing budget
  • Build and maintain relationships with contacts across Assembly and Edelman divisions
  • Analyze industry trends, comparing competitive activities and opportunities
  • Serve as integral member of the team, contributing to ongoing reports and ongoing cross-company efforts in concert with other agencies and teams

Campaign Management

  • Ongoing ideation, campaign development, and strategic consultation around major initiatives and key moments to produce influencer content for the U.S. but that can also be leveraged globally
  • Prepare and present campaign briefings/updates/recaps for clients
  • Identify new content creators by vertical and category
  • Maintain thoughtful relationships with select influencers to gauge ongoing sentiment and engagement opportunities
  • When appropriate, oversee and negotiate contracts with influencers on behalf of clients
  • When appropriate, oversee and negotiate necessary travel arrangements via travel agent vendor for influencers
  • Oversee and execute the creation of briefing materials for influencers and for clients
  • When appropriate, coordinate with influencers on deliverables
  • Work with internal specialists and oversee and recommend enhanced paid and analytics plans
  • Work with data and measurement teams to forecast KPIs for programs and build reports to showcase results

Staff Management

  • Supervise team members ensuring constant development of their skills, motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback
  • Champion a positive and supportive work culture

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an agency setting, influencer marketing, or related field
  • Experience in influencer marketing including maintaining relationships with influencers and management agencies, executing small and large influencer programs from start to finish, both earned and paid
  • Strong experience in client service, preferably leading large matrixed accounts, with creative problem solving abilities
  • Extensive experience presenting to key stakeholders
  • Experience working with and managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
