Compensation: $175,000 to $200,000 Annually

Our client is looking for a Directror of Sales & Parnterships to lead and hire a team based in NYC. This person will lead Sales, Client Services, Marketing and a team of Campaign Managers for a world-class Influencer Marketing platform. The right person will help build the US Sales Strategy, have deep contacts throughout the agency holding companies and years of leading effective sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the New York sales team whilst also being an individual contributor to the overall US sales target by generating a specified amount of revenue from an assigned list of agencies/advertisers.
  • Working with the CRO to develop & implement the US sales strategy.
  • Assisting with the recruitment of new sales people to the sales team
  • Contribute to the development of the sales team through coaching them to exceed target (responsible for day to day management)
  • Maintain high-level contact and communication with all relevant contacts at the assigned agencies/advertisers, to uncover existing and new opportunities
  • Hold 10 relevant meetings per week
  • Deliver a quarterly business plan
  • Become a specialist in one key vertical, both from an internal and external perspective
  • Advise clients on most appropriate campaign models and build creative responses
  • Ensure all Sales and Campaign information is correctly inputted onto Salesforce
  • Ensure all campaigns are correctly set up within the platform

Experience:

  • At least 6 years Agency Sales experience
  • Experience of managing high performing sales teams
  • A background in, or knowledge of Digital and Social media
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a self-disciplined manner with excellent learning skills with capacity to learn at an accelerated rate in this incredibly fast paced industry
  • Innovative and creative thinker with ability to educate clients on the Influencer Marketing space and Instagram
  • Creative flair for producing content ideas and writing briefs
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify business critical issues and seek out quick responses and solutions
  • Bachelors Degree require, MBA preferred
