The Job:
Narrativ is looking to hire a Creator Sales Director. This is a unique opportunity to have a fundamental impact on the success of a rapidly growing startup. In this role, you will direct our team of Creator Business Development Managers to acquire creators giving organic product recommendations in the Beauty, Lifestyle, Fashion and Consumer Electronics verticals on Youtube and beyond. You will also be in charge of scaling this team to achieve our ambitious creator acquisition goals in 2021.
You'll be on the cutting edge of performance marketing as Narrativ is fundamentally opening a new acquisition channel for advertisers and new revenue streams for Creators far beyond the legacy constraints of influencer marketing. We operate at a massive scale- your work will directly influence millions of dollars of revenue for some of the most well-known companies in the industry. As a Creator thought partner, you and your team will develop specialized strategies and messaging to communicate the earning potential and value alignment to Creators of working with Narrativ. You will also own sales operations to scale the program to hit our ambitious acquisition goals.
The value you'll bring:
- Brainstorm, collaborate and innovate creative solutions to deliver value to new creators.
- Craft quotas and acquisition benchmarks while maintaining sales efficiency.
- Report and track acquisition pipeline and other KPIs against program-wide OKRs.
- Work cross-functionally to drive lead generation and streamline leads through our CRM.
- Oversee, provide mentorship and guidance to Business Development Managers on best practices and messaging to achieve their goals.
- Partner closely with our Solutions team to create a process for onboarding new creators.
- Collaborate with Client teams to align lead lists and acquisition priorities.
- Serve as a point of escalation for Business Development managers for senior stakeholders. Deliver product demos, provide insightful technical answers, and recommend creative ways to get the most out of the Narrativ platform, which means you'll also have to understand the publisher and advertiser side of the business.
Experience to set you up for success:
- 5+ Years sales experience
- Experience scaling a sales team while maintaining sales efficiency
- GTM strategy ownership
- Experience at a start up prior.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of performance marketing, paid search or affiliate monetization and marketing.
- Successful track record
- Consultative by nature
