About The Brand & Marketing Team

The Brand & Marketing Team focuses on building Collectively’s reputation globally and supporting communications and lead generation efforts across markets. This team works closely with cross-functional colleagues in New Business, Account Management, Strategy, and Community to develop programs and materials to connect with clients, creators, media, and our broader industry.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager is the primary lead supporting brand and marketing strategy for our agency and executing all marketing and communications projects. This role requires a generalist marketing and communications skill set, as the work ranges from managing press and media requests to supporting conference talks, developing thought leadership and content marketing materials, and managing our owned web and social media channels and associated PPC investments. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for applying KPIs and tracking performance to constantly improve strategies across investments. The right candidate is passionate about influencer marketing and is excited to highlight the power of the influencer channel through data-driven storytelling.

Content Marketing & Thought Leadership

  • Oversee Collectively newsletters, sourcing content ideas from across the agency, and optimizing strategy over time through performance analysis
  • Develop thought leadership including our annual influencer marketing industry report, short POVs on emerging trends, and conference talks
  • Create content for Collectively social channels and website, and optimize strategy through performance analysis—expertise in TikTok and Instagram editing tools is required
  • Support New Business and Account Management through the development of sales enablement collateral that illustrates Collectively services and thought leadership
  • Actively seek out and identify new opportunities for Collectively to publish thought leadership digitally, or represent ourselves via podcasts, panels, and virtual events
  • Work closely with designers on more complex projects

Digital Marketing

  • Develop PPC and paid social strategies to support Collectively’s overall growth and reputation
  • Manage SEO to support organic traffic to Collectively’s content
  • Track and report on success to optimize strategy

PR & Communications

  • Manage awards calendar and entries
  • Develop case studies for our website and sales materials
  • Develop and nurture relationships with relevant media and industry groups
  • Manage all media inquiries and cultivate press opportunities

Requirements

  • 3-4 years work experience in marketing, sales, PR, or the advertising industry
  • Knowledge of and passion for the social media and influencer landscape
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail, eye for design & commitment to producing quality work
  • Experience managing social media channels and company website
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads Manager
  • Experience with Keynote, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Exceptional focus and time management skills, able to follow process efficiently and manage priorities
  • Excellent initiative and proactive follow-through with all colleagues from peers to senior staff
