Group Nine Media (POPSUGAR, THRILLIST, THE DODO, NOWTHIS & SEEKER) is looking for a Talent Manager to join our busy Talent Department, working primarily with Influencers. Our ideal candidate is passionate about, and has an instinctive feel for, talent; has experience in Influencer marketing from micro to top-tier talent; and understands the Group Nine brand.
Your Responsibilities Include
- Assess advertising clients’ brand profile, campaign objectives, KPIs and budgets
- Advise clients and executives on how Influencers can achieve client and audience objectives
- Source a range of Influencers who fit client and Group Nine Media’s needs within strict timelines
- Negotiate and close deals with Influencers
- Day-to-day account management, including the review of influencer trackers, reports, recaps, filing images, social content, invoices and budget management, etc.
- Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with influencers and content creators that result in a valuable pipeline of vetted, effective Influencer talent with affinity for the Group Nine Media brand
- Serve as the lead point of contact between Influencers and their agents and managers, if applicable
- Oversee campaigns to ensure timely delivery of influencer assets for approval and execution and coordinate logistics based on talent contracts.
- Produce materials following campaign execution with recap, ROI and performance metrics.
- Assist the Talent Department as needed on other campaigns and projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of account management experience, working with influencers/digital programs a must.
- Experience with influencer costs, what factors drive pricing and how to adjust scopes of services appropriately in a negotiation.
- Expert in both social platform and influencer business practices as it relates to strategy, influencer tiers, and verticals.
- Strong experience executing programs by leveraging Instagram and other social media platforms
- Ability to think creatively and independently, as well as collaboratively.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be able to manage time well, stay organized, and pay attention to detail
- Should understand the Group Nine Media brands and have a passion for trends and topics that matter to our audience
