Job Description
TechStyle Fashion Group is looking for a Director of Influencer Marketing - Savage X Fenty.
The Director of Influencer Marketing at Savage X Fenty is a results-driven leader, with deep experience working in a fast-paced, performance-focused team. The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical expertise and insight to optimize and scale our paid Influencer program with daily attention to performance, as well as clear communication to leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure attainment of monthly financial goals. They will have strong understanding of the evolving and fast-paced influencer/ambassador landscape, as well as understand how brands leverage talent to support their overall marketing objectives. This person will be responsible for ideating and building strategic influencer-driven performance campaigns and identifying the right talent to fulfill the program. The ideal candidate has strong negotiations skill and a proven track record working directly with talent, clients, agents, and managers. In addition, the candidate has experience with influencer management software and tools; and a deep understanding of how to utilize data, attribution and analytics for campaigns.
This position will report to the Co-President & CMO.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct influencer strategy on a global scale.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide network of talent/tastemakers/influencers that embody the culture and values of the Savage X Fenty brand.
- Stay on top of current and emerging digital platforms.
- Deliver on annual media spend budget, as well as performance based KPI’s for scaling influencers as a paid customer acquisition channel.
- Partner with our data science team to measure, attribute and optimize our paid influencer program to achieve overall efficient customer acquisition for the channel while also understanding the individual performance of each of our influencers.
- Partner with our in-house media buying agency to balance overall efficiency across the various channels.
- Research and test partnerships with new vendors/influencers to expand our reach and lower CAC.
- Partner with the Brand team to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all partners and campaigns.
- Mentor, develop and coach the team on achieving our goals while demonstrating the desired skills and expected work ethic.
- Ensure best-in-class collaborations through processes and tactics that are implemented and maintained with all of our partners.
- Oversee management of talent conversations, leading the negotiation and contracting of influencers and talent with a strong knowledge in Federal Trade Commission Guidelines (FTC) and standard deal points.
Required Skills
- Experience in digital influencer marketing required for DTC Brand(s).
- Strong understanding of digital PR/marketing and social media is essential.
- Past experience with digital media buying in a direct response environment desired.
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Experience working with top talent, celebrities and representation.
- Strong understanding and experience with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Youtube.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic influencer campaigns.
- Content distribution expertise spanning owned, earned, and paid digital channels.
- Motivated self-starter with hands-on attitude.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong influencer relations skills and influencer contacts/relationships.
- Strong project management and agency management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in an extremely fast-paced environment and industry.
- Ability to balance short and long-term priorities.
