Digital Account Executive

We’re looking for a Social Media Account Executive to join KCSA’s growing digital team!

Job Summary:

The right candidate for this role will exhibit strong writing skills with the ability to draft concise and engaging content for different platforms, along with a passion for staying in-the-know on the latest social media trends. Responsibilities will include overseeing and managing daily social initiatives across multiple accounts.

Social Copywriting

  • Write concise, engaging, original copy for social media platforms
  • Oversee tone, language and assets of social campaigns
  • Own the entire content development process, ensuring that deadlines are met and content goes through the proper editing and approval process
  • Design experience is a plus but not mandatory

Community Management

  • Serve as a community management lead to oversee client channels daily, including publishing posts and monitoring for engagements
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and staying up to date on trending topics
  • Use social listening tools to identify social conversation trends and engagement opportunities

Analytics Reporting

  • Compile analytical reports to provide an overview of social media performance and identify insights to inform ongoing content optimizations
  • Some experience with using social analytics tools for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Google Analytics experience is a plus

Paid Social

  • Basic understanding of running paid social campaigns on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Experience with Google AdWords, search engine optimization and influencer marketing is a plus

Account Support

  • Day-to-day communications between client and team
  • Help plan and coordinate traditional and social media outreach programs and aid in new business process including idea contribution, research and proposal preparation
  • Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content such as strategy presentations and POV documents

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in digital/social media, public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing
  • Possesses strong research and writing skills
  • Exhibits a collaborative, hard-working team spirit
  • Demonstrates a proven ability to effectively manage several tasks at once in a multi-faceted environment
  • Is responsible, highly organized and able to track and meet deadlines consistently
