Social Media Marketing Intern

Socialite Media Spring Internship:

Duration: Monday, August 30 - Friday, November 26

Pay: $500 total stipend plus commission opportunities (20% client signing bonus, 10% renewals), stipend to be paid at the end of the internship.

Time Commitment Breakdown: 10-15 hours per week (2+ hours per day), remote, possibility of in-office work toward July/ August. Must be available to attend weekly Socialite Media team Zoom meetings at 1pm CST and possible remote client meetings. Invitation to some Socialite Media sponsored events and company outings.

Preference given to applicants in Chicago or Las Vegas

Responsibilities:

- Assist Socialite Media executives with premium client accounts

- Run and manage 1-2 client accounts with supervision from Socialite Media team leader

- Create original content for social media platforms

- Work with client to incorporate brand voice into social media posts

- Develop strategic social media campaigns

- Work with influencers and learn influencer marketing

- If selected, you are an extension of the Socialite Media team and are expected to perform under Socialite Media professional standards

Qualifications:

- Current college student or recent graduate majoring in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or PR;

and/ or 1-2 years of similar industry experience

- Must have an interest in helping small businesses

- Must have an interest in Social Media Marketing and/or PR or Influencer Marketing

- Must be knowledgeable of current social media trends

- Must be a team player and work well collaborating with others

- Experience in photography, graphic design, and videography a plus

- Experience in SEO and web design a plus
