As a GRIN Multimedia Editor/Designer you will edit all audio and visual content as well as create supporting graphics, animations, and special effects for video design.

Leveraging your editing expertise to produce branded video assets and effective content experiences for a wide variety of media, including social, website, podcasts, and other emerging media. You will be pivotal in the growth of our media brand while also helping support the creative needs across the organization. ** Please include your Demo Reel/Portfolio link in your resume**

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is organized, extraordinarily creative, with a collaborative style. As well as have excellent communication skills - which means you’re an expert in visual storytelling.

GRIN is headquartered in Sacramento, CA, and has a Remote-First work policy, meaning "work from home" is the default. GRIN has office space available in Sacramento if you decide to go into the office a few days a week, and there are a few days each quarter that you'll be required to come in to headquarters for quarterly planning meetings, with travel covered by the company.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure that all creative projects adhere to the company's brand standards.
  • Self-directed and manage time effectively across multiple projects adhering to production schedules in a fast-paced environment.
  • Create and own all the phases of video asset development including conceptualization, storyboarding, animating, and editing.
  • Catalog finished artwork and maintained organized files.
  • Work both collaboratively and independently to create visually engaging video content that brings our brand to life and meets our marketing goals..
  • Give and receive thoughtful feedback that helps improve design work.
  • Conceptualize creative and marketing concepts across all media, while reflecting the brand’s personality and crushing KPIs.

We are looking for people who have

  • BA or BS in graphic design, motion graphics, art, film, broadcast, audio, media production, or related.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and additional editing tools.
  • Confident in alternate motion design/post-production software and systems.
  • Experience working with multiple teams and ability to contribute to team meetings with your knowledge in video editing/motion graphics design.
  • Experience with visual storytelling including editorial animation, motion graphics, and audio/video editing.
  • UX/UI experience.
  • A history of meeting deadlines and juggling multiple priorities and partners.
