The Role

Seeking an experienced and creative social marketer with a passion for storytelling to manage global social media programs for Oracle Advertising and CX. As a member of the Oracle Advertising and CX Cloud social media team, you will be the voice of the brand online responsible to engage and grow the Oracle Advertising and CX community. We are looking for a candidate who will push boundaries and bring new creative and innovative ideas to engage with our community. You will work with key social media and digital platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, as well as seek emerging platforms that can help us grow our customer base and brand. You also have a keen understanding and appreciation for technology, as well as experience working within the B2B industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Oracle Advertising and CX Social Media team to execute on social marketing strategy
  • Partner with campaigns and product marketing team to integrate campaign-specific messaging across all channels
  • Ensure all social media content is consistent with branding, positioning, voice and messaging
  • Track performance of campaigns, content, and health of the channels and create regular reporting to the team
  • Anticipate trends and keep your finger on the pulse on digital marketing innovation
  • Apply research, identify new marketing trends, and keep team informed of new opportunities
  • Grow audiences and foster global social conversation
  • Drive creation of micro-content for social media, such as social graphics, visual development, animated GIFs, and short-form video related to campaigns
  • Execute paid promotion in partnership with advertising team
  • Curate content for Oracle Champion’s program to help Oracle Advertising and CX team spread our content and news

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years professional experience in Social Media, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Journalism for a reputable brand
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Exceptional understanding of social media channels and content development
  • Passion for social media and community building
  • Has sound judgment and a keen instinct about what’s on-brand
  • Experience using social media analytics and monitoring platforms to track performance of campaigns, content, and health of the channels
  • Experience in project managing content development across teams, with partners and agencies
  • Experience in Influencer Marketing a plus
  • A self-starter who can work successfully on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledgeable of social media advertising ecosystem, SEO and diverse MarTech landscape is a plus
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience in Sprinklr or other social media platforms
  • Familiarity with design software such as: Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator a plus
  • Ability to craft and edit short form video content a plus
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent

Travel Component: Doesn’t require travel.

Position Location: Role is based in the United States and requires close coordination with virtual team.

Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Responsible for digital marketing activities to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5+ years related experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.
