We are based in New York and Los Angeles, with employees across the country. We are looking for a creative, ambitious and enthusiastic Social Media Manger to join our team.
Social Media Manager Responsibilities
- Assist a team of VP and Account Directors to
- Execute innovative social media marketing campaigns for clients, with a priority on campaign strategy, but also including community management, paid advertising, content creation ideation and calendar
o Work with our market research group at Bovitz, Inc. to generate social strategies based on consumer insights
o Manage social media accounts for clients
o Execute influencer marketing campaigns for clients, from identification to execution, analytics and optimization
o Measure, optimize and report performance of all social media marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
o Help identify market, platform and industry trends and insights
o Contribute to brainstorming new and creative growth and content strategies for clients
o Work with Account Team to support event programs
Candidate Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree plus 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in social media management, strategy, and community management
· Experience in creating social campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
· Deep knowledge of top social platforms’ (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn) capabilities, limitations, and updates
· Experience with social media management and website analytics tools (e.g., HootSuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.)
· Experience with presentation building (Powerpoint or Keynote)
· Strong critical thinking skills and ability to ideate creatively with a team
· Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
· Strong design, research, writing, and editing skills
· First-rate interpersonal skills with the ability to connect well with clients and colleagues
· Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
· Our preference is to have the Social Media Manager based in our NYC office (when we resume working in offices again), but we’re open to candidates looking to work remotely, too.
