About the Role:
H Code is looking for a highly motivated and organized sales candidate to fill the role of Vice President, Sales - West based in LA. The ideal person must have experience working with national brands and digital agencies across multiple verticals, excellent management skills, should possess a strong work ethic, excellent presentation skills, and have the ability to contribute and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
The role will be responsible for establishing H Code and B Code’s competitive advantage and value proposition in today’s quickly evolving digital marketplace, as well as developing and implementing strategic and holistic ad sales programs to leverage our unique capabilities - including scaled media execution, custom content production, social amplification, and influencer marketing. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified sales leader looking to become a team-player, drive our West Coast sales strategy and be an integral part of a rapidly growing company.
This person must be based in the West Coast.
Responsibilities
- Drive H/B Code sales strategy for the West Coast region (LA, San Francisco, Pacific Northwest, Arizona and Nevada).
- Proactively prospect, qualify, grow and maintain all sales activities from lead generation through close in an assigned territory or category. This may include networking, independent research and agency/client visits
- Possess thorough knowledge of H/B Code's full suite of cross platform product offerings and services
- Understand, demonstrate and present H Code's product offerings, solutions, and services to prospective clients in a professional manner to help grow our portfolio of advertising partners
- Develop and customize strategic and creative sales presentations, pricing and proposals as needed to help fulfill the needs of prospective agency and client partners
- Responsible for tracking all sales activities including accounts, contacts, new leads and opportunities via our CRM (Salesforce)
- Project and meet regional sales goals for team/sellers
- Manage and mentor a team of Sales Directors

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, and background in media sales with strong emphasis on digital/online media
- Quantifiable, proven track record of sales success
- Strong senior level agency/brand contacts
- Prior experience selling digital media including integrated solutions (e.g. custom content)
- 10+ years of successful digital media sales experience and demonstrated success in working with agencies and brands in relation to advertising sales
- Detail oriented, strong work ethic and time management skills
- Strategic mindset, analytical sales skills and strong business acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced startup / early stage environment with high potential for career growth
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Willingness to travel as needed
