Versed is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team in Los Angeles, CA.

You are extremely well-organized. You are able to manage several projects, tasks and calendars at once and keep others on track too. You like working in small, fast-moving teams and stay cool under pressure. You believe the details make the difference. You are highly responsive and always make sure everyone is in the loop. You move quickly to requests and get good work out the door. You love skincare, beauty, social media strategy and influencer marketing and are pretty well versed in them too.

Versed is the sister company to Who What Wear, the millennial and Gen Z media, marketing, and consumer brands company. We combine community-powered development with retail know-how to incubate and scale the next generation of vertical beauty brands.

Responsibilities

  • Support all influencer marketing activities including: (35% of responsibilities)
    • Influencer discovery and outreach
    • Packing, shipping and tracking seeding boxes
    • Inventory management
    • Influencer follow-up
    • Reporting
  • Support social media marketing efforts including: (30% of responsibilities)
    • Community management across all platforms
    • Pinterest boards management
    • On site gallery curation
    • Tracking and reporting
  • Support the Communications team with PR efforts including: (15% of responsibilities)
    • Research editors, journalists, podcast hosts, etc., in order to draft messaging documents and pitches.
    • Build, monitor, and maintain media contact database.
    • Track media and press hits to inform future communication strategies.
    • Create and distribute PR reports analyzing coverage.
    • Maintain all company boilerplates and executive bios.
  • Support the growth and management of the Versed Ambassador Program (20% of responsibilities)

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business or other relevant field
  • 1-3 years marketing experience
  • Beauty/lifestyle industry experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization and planning skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects
  • Computer proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint & Word
  • Proficient in social media trends and current digital platforms
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing
  • An understanding of the Versed brand and customer
