The Influencer Marketing Specialist will report to the Global Head of Social Media and support our global marketing and communications teams, bringing organic and paid social media influencer campaigns to life across multiple social platforms.

He/she will bring an entrepreneurial attitude to the role as a natural leader, networker and self-starter, and will be responsible for managing and navigating different personalities and team dynamics.

The Role & Responsibilities
The Influencer Marketing Lead will be responsible for developing innovative influencer marketing campaigns and executing paid media/amplification strategies across all social media channels, with a heavy focus on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram Reels. There will be a heavy focus on optimization and performance while discovering new areas of growth.

A successful candidate will combine editorial principles with brand storytelling in a variety of formats. They must have excellent writing, communication, and relationship management skills; sound judgment; and a passion for the ever-evolving world of social media and digital marketing.

The ideal candidate is at the forefront of public relations and influencer marketing trends and has a creative and innovative approach that can elevate traditional programming with experimental forward thinking.

The position requires strong administrative and communications skills, an aptitude for multi-tasking, and a team-player with a positive attitude who can effectively work across internal functions and external partners.

You have in-depth knowledge and experience working on influencer, social and digital marketing.
You are fluent in influencer marketing best practices and know how to collaborate with talent and creators to build world-class digital marketing campaigns.

You are comfortable working autonomously, handling multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritizing accordingly to contribute to ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver influencer campaigns including organic content creation, paid amplification, whitelisting and a cohesive measurement strategy across all main platforms (with a key focus on Instagram Reels and TikTok)
  • Facilitate development of strategic influencer-related activities in collaboration with Nasdaq marketing, digital and communications teams
  • Identify, negotiate and manage partnerships across micro, mid-tier and macro influencers (with a heavy focus on fintech, tech, esg-related content)
  • Work closely with the Director of Paid Social, paid social agency and influencer agency on whitelisting, paid social and strategy/briefing processes to prove out ROI
  • Work hand-in-hand with our Supervising Producer and social-first video team members to deliver video-first influencer content to help grow Nasdaq social channels and emerging platforms
  • Keep abreast of FTC guidelines, innovations, talent, platforms and tools while maintaining program compliance and providing recommendations
  • Manage mid-flight campaign content cycles, highlighting key learning to help improve active and future campaigns
  • Monitor influencer social feeds and be aware of competitive brand activity
  • Develop creative strategies to secure influencer participation while delivering results
  • Partner with key cross-functional teams to influence successful, measurable marketing ideas, and plans in order to drive business outcomes, while integrating influencer participation in our marketing, advertising, owned and operated channels and events
  • Vet, onboard, create the SOW & Briefing process on working with the Influencer agency
  • Collaborate with a range of internal (PR, Legal, Content) teams to negotiate agreements and amplify impact
  • Develop KPI’s and insights both internally and with external partners to benchmark expectations and goals
  • Analyze the performance and share results with senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Work with internal teams, agencies and talent to create digital and social creatives such as videos and animations to support your big ideas.
  • Keep a pulse on current social media and cultural trends to identify new opportunities for our social strategy

Basic Qualifications

  • Aptitude to develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience using influencer identification tools
  • Experience targeting, executing and measuring paid social content
  • Experience working with internal and/or external agencies
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to think big and propose innovative strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Deep understanding of how social content functions and how to optimize this content to generate the best results.
  • Experience running successful social media campaigns on both small and large scales.
  • Experience owning creative input, development, and execution from concept to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, collaboration, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while maintaining high-quality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
