THIS ROLE

We’re looking for a Digital & Social Marketing Manager who is highly organized, creative and self-guided. This person is responsible to drive and manage all Social Media activity on behalf of Future of Cities (FOC) on all relevant platforms including Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and other emerging media by producing and scheduling content, writing copy and incorporating performance insights.

You will generate content proposals and campaigns to amplify the brand’s unique voice, DNA and image and create and deploy performance marketing and customer acquisition initiatives including email campaigns, search marketing, website management, influencer partnerships and digital campaigns.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Create and execute social media content and digital campaigns to attract, engage and grow audiences across all digital platforms (including social, email, website, and blog).
  • Daily management of all social channels and identifying and participating in relevant online communities, online forums, industry groups, etc to insert FOC in relevant conversations.
  • Regular tracking, and reporting performance for social channels.
  • Own and operate all avenues of paid and organic search campaigns including social and email. Stay current and implement the latest marketing and social media trends.
  • Manage execution and coverage of events, seminars, collaborations with partners.
  • Amplify FOC’s Public Relations team’s efforts across social, web and email.
  • Create influencer marketing programs to manage end-to-end operations of influencer marketing campaigns and collaborations. Enrol and manage new and existing relationships, negotiate paid and earned opportunities.
  • Monitor KPIs regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy of all moving parts, making recommendations for continuous improvement. Develop, execute social media strategy to drive awareness, buzz, audience and engagement.
  • Set up, manage, test, deploy and track email campaigns. Present to leadership regularly on campaign plans and results.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain best-in class websites. Develop a holistic web strategy to enhance sign up funnel and positively impact conversion rate. Implement SEO best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 - 5 year of digital marketing and social media experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, including ability to manage execution, optimizations.
  • Copywriting experience preferred: excellent written and verbal communication incl. strong editing, grammar, and proofreading skills; for captions, copy, website, email marketing
  • Innovative thinking, willingness to identify and try new social marketing concepts
  • Ability to work independently. Team player who demonstrates leadership skills in a matrix managed organization with multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with graphic design to co-create with our in-house designer on engaging graphics, videos and gifs
  • Knowledge or interest in smart cities, architecture, green building, urban planning, futurism, community development and an eye on the pulse of cities is a plus
