The Opportunity

The HSN Social Media Strategist will be responsible for the strategic execution of our Organic Social Media Platforms driving customer engagement, viewership, and commerce.

The team focuses on developing engaging social content strategies that supports various brand, commerce, and business priorities across our social media platforms.

Your Impact

  • Develop and implement the social media strategy in support of our brand priorities across various platforms including Flagship Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and more
  • Develop engaging, on-trend & consistent campaigns to align with HSN’s priorities & promotions; Responsible for daily posting and creation of content across HSN’s social platforms; Maintain social media/editorial content calendar
  • Work cross-functionally with Analytics, Brand, eCommerce, Host and Performance Marketing teams to build holistic marketing strategies and reporting
  • Provide direction and feedback to our creative and creator teams.
  • Monitor brand, vendor, competitor & influencer conversations utilizing QVC’s social listening tools
  • Analyze daily, weekly & monthly reporting to inform strategy across all social platforms; Actively monitor social pages for content & community building opportunities.

What You Bring

  • BA/BS in merchandising, marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years business experience in social media, influencer marketing, and/or public relations.
  • Experience managing influencer marketing or publicity programs is preferred.
  • Digital native with strong familiarity and experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the social media industry and trends
  • Experience conceptualizing and executing new content strategies
  • Ability to identify emerging trends and make recommendations for new opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Demonstrable leadership skills, with a high degree of maturity
  • Strong decision-making, time management & planning skills
  • Collaborative team-player
  • Effective time management skills
  • Working knowledge of various computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.)
  • Knowledge of social media calendar and scheduling platforms (Airtable, Curalate, Hootsuite, etc.) a plus
  • Experience as a content creator natively producing content for TikTok, IG Reels, as well as photography & Photoshop strongly preferred.
