The Opportunity
Social media platforms are evolving at a rapid pace with Gen Z consumers at the forefront. Adobe is dedicated to staying ahead of the curve and establishing relevance with the next wave of customers and community. To reach this audience where they are with Adobe tools and services, the Adobe Social Media Team is seeking a Social Strategist focused on Emerging Audiences and Platforms. This role will work on a team with other social strategists, working across Digital Media and in partnership with Brand social. Be part of the larger Social team at Adobe, collaborating on an outstanding social program prioritizing creativity/innovation, experimentation, reaching new and rising audiences, and helping build the next generation of creatives.
What You'll Do
- Oversee/program manage content creation and curation to support editorial for social media channels geared towards young creators and consumer-facing products/services.
- Explore new social platforms and content types with a goal of reaching rising audiences (TikTok, Discord, etc.).
- Support Adobe’s Social Newsroom program as an advocate for Gen Z-relevant trends, opportunities, content, and creative.
- Drive and support social campaigns, programs, and marketing initiatives for this audience across social profiles and platforms, with particular focus on Adobe Gen Create.
- Represent the audience within the broader Adobe Social team and partner with cross-functional teams, and then analyze performance, share meaningful insights, and evolve/optimize.
- Audit and evolve voice & tone across Gen Z-focused content to increase resonance and social engagement.
- Collaborate closely with regional counterparts to learn, and implement strategy globally.
- Guide community management approach for target audience.
- Actively investigate and suggest new ways to improve engagement on all social platforms, especially emerging social media outlets.
What you need to succeed
- Consistent track record of success leading social media communities, with responsibilities in day-to-day management, growth strategies, measurement, engagement campaigns, influencer marketing, paid media, and content strategy. Relevant professional experience in social media management or marketing communications.
- Experience leading all aspects of social strategy for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. Know which content types, formats, and lengths work on each platform. Familiar with each platform’s media studio, ads dashboard, etc.
- Experience running and measuring a variety of ongoing and event or campaign-specific social programs, with experience marketing to Gen Z audiences preferred.
- Strong grasp of digital documents, collaboration tools, and productivity; interest in building an active community/audience.
- Experience working with contractors and agencies.
- Experience with web and social media analytics tools and reporting.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience implementing and optimizing paid social media campaigns.
- A good eye for design and savvy with social content, from static to video and beyond.
- Experience managing branded social accounts; BA in a related field, such as Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Design or Photography preferred.
