Senior Analyst, Paid Analytics

Edelman is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our expanding Data & Intelligence team with a focus on paid media analytics.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about learning, problem-solving, and leveraging data to re-define how businesses and brands interact with their customers.
This role will provide performance marketing analytics support across needed accounts and work directly with internal and external stakeholders to define, build, and execute multi-channel reporting documentation + measurement strategies. The ideal candidate should have experience in a cross-functional, collaborative environment and bring a balance of a left-brained analytical fact-finding, paired with right-brained intuition and storytelling to service Edelman’s top clients.
Responsibilities Of The Senior Analyst
- Support the development of measurement frameworks, learning agendas, and data integration across multiple workstreams for global clients
- Drive performance marketing reporting across multiple paid channels, including but not limited to social, search, programmatic, OLV, and OTT. Influencer marketing experience a plus.
- Contextualize and apply data to generate a holistic view of the consumer and inform the development of programs, content, and experiences.
- Apply knowledge of the client and the digital analytics craft to evaluate new data opportunities in the form of new sources, methodologies, technology partnership, client priorities, etc.
- Foster creative thinking around how to use data and how data can solve business challenges in support of marketing and communication activities e.g., media, CRM, eCommerce, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-discipline leads in Creative, Channel Strategy, Planning, Paid Media, and Business Intelligence to guide decision-making with technical and non-technical groups.
Skills And Experience
- Have 3+ years of relevant professional experience working with paid marketing data and developing insights.
- Possess a bachelor or graduate degree from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Strong understanding of how key measurement results impact each other.
- An excellent storyteller and data visualizer with experience in Tableau, Datorama, Domo, Power BI, etc.
- Experienced with paid marketing data that spans multiple channels, tactics and industries.
- Effectively can navigate social listening systems (Brandwatch), from setup to output a plus.
- Understanding of integrated reporting that may be inclusive of paid, owned, earned, influencer a plus.
- Knowledge of Excel formulae, database design and SQL, fluency in SQL and/or Python is a plus.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple deliverables with various stakeholders.
