We are looking for an experienced Social Media & Creative Content Strategist. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for paid and organic social media initiatives - and brand-building objectives. This person is a creative thinker and self starter with great problem-solving skills and interested in creating and conceptualizing social media strategies, assets as well as engaging copy.

You must be a jack-of-all trades in the social media industry – able to create social media campaigns across numerous platforms, implement paid ads, report analytics, create on-brand content (canva, lightroom), create/understand visual aesthetics, plan and post content calendars, community management, and creative copywriting. Having a creative eye is key.

You will help us create top-quality, engaging content for a number of clients in a data-driven way by preparing well-structured reports and presentations/decks. This position will assist in all public-facing messaging and activations related helping to increase overall brand awareness for our clients.

The ideal candidate is able to navigate a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with efficiency and maturity. We're looking for a rockstar who is naturally organized and detail-oriented, enthusiastic about social media and all things strategy — someone who is a data-obsessed self-starter with excellent judgement and communication skills.

Experience managing a junior team is required.

Agency experience required.

Experience in the travel, real estate, hospitality and lifestyle highly preferred.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

STRATEGY & ANALYTICS

  • Support overall strategy and execute organic and paid social media content plans across all social channels for clients
  • Develop client proposals and presentations to answer client briefs, overseeing all copywriting, strategy and project management.
  • Identify and follow best practices in boosting organic social media posts, making sure that our boosting strategy stays up to date and is optimized to support community- and brand-building objectives.
  • Extract insights identify trends and build out data driven strategies to amplify creative campaign performance to exceed client KPIs.
  • Prepare insights continuously find best practices for social optimization.
  • Support new business deck creation

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

  • Lead day-to-day management of social media calendars to ensure successful program development and execution across various social channels.
  • Manage day-to-day tactical initiatives for clients.
  • Monitor discussions, posts, and comments across multiple social media channels.
  • Immerse yourself in the brand’s “voice” in order to represent clients in a consistent manner across all social media channels.
  • Work closely with the Influencer Marketing and PR teams to align on key moments and social media opportunities, as well as collect / source relevant content.
  • Stay current on social platform updates impacting copywriting, community management and social media strategy.
  • Manage job directly with clients by delivering assets, managing expectations and socializing creative.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for clients measuring social media channel and creative campaign performance.
  • Track the status of social projects and campaigns from ideation to completion, ensuring that the team is hitting milestones at every stage of the process.
  • Create and implement strategies for account growth and engagement
  • Anticipate and problem-solve potential challenges for all projects and campaigns.

CREATIVE

  • Curate content calendars based on client’s visual aesthetic
  • Create content in lightroom/canva to run on social channels
  • Understanding of visual branding and ability to use brand guidelines to create content across platforms

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS…

  • 3-5 years of social media management or equivalent social/digital/integrated marketing experience within a fast-paced agency.
  • Prior agency experience working across multiple clients is a must
  • Proficient knowledge and experience across all social platforms, native platform analytics, and social intelligence tools
  • Facebook, Twitter and Instagram ad experience (from strategy to analytical reporting)
  • Superior copy writing and communication skills
  • Creative visual eye
  • Ability to ideate and brainstorm big ideas and initiatives for social media campaigns
