Working as part of the Social Division and reporting to the Head of Product Specialists, the Product Specialist is Meltwater's subject matter expert on all things social, digital, & marketing analytics. You’re a collaborator and sales accelerator, working with our top performers in Client Acquisition, Client Success, and Marketing. The Product Specialist collaborates closely with our Growth Executives and Account Executives, steward customer relationships while providing strategic counsel on industry best practices, product use cases, competitive positioning, and thought leadership for all things social.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as a resource for Growth Executives and Sales Executives to provide strategic direction, including guidance on relevant social media and digital strategy.
- Support Growth Executives with a solution-oriented approach to upsell the Meltwater Social suite of products to the existing customer base.
- Assist in the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches for client meetings leveraging your industry and product knowledge.
- Clearly articulate Meltwater Social’s value proposition and value drivers, centered on the business problems we solve for our customers, to decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team across Client Acquisition, Client Success, Growth Executives, Product Specialists, Implementation, Marketing, and Engineering.
- Represent Meltwater Social at industry and customer events.
- Stay knowledgeable and attuned to the ever-changing social and digital marketing and marketing technology space.
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic results
- Experience in digital marketing strategy, social media marketing, marketing analytics technology, PR analytics technology, or some combination
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills in
- Creativity and enthusiasm with customer-facing presentations
- Experience working with, selling into, and building long-term relationships with an existing customer base
- Proven skills in working with technology and SaaS offerings, with a curiosity to continuously learn and grow professionally
- Strong organizational and solution-driven skills
- Excellent collaboration and internal team-building skills
- Diligent, disciplined, & accountable – comfortable in performing at a high-level in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment
- Bonus points for influencer marketing experience!
