Senior Creative Director

Since 2018, we’ve rescued more than 170 million pounds of food and made it accessible to millions of members across the country. Fixing a broken food system isn’t easy. It requires passionate and motivated problem-solvers ready to chart the course towards a future where food waste and exorbitant food costs don’t exist.
The Brand team is responsible for brand partnerships, content, communications, creative, events, influencer marketing, public relations, reputation management, social impact, and social media management. Our in-house studio creates all photo, video, graphics, copy, swag, and other creative assets for organic and paid channels.
We’re now on the hunt for a Senior Creative Director to own and elevate Misfits Market’s creative strategy and help tell our story to customers around the country. You’ll create original and inspiring campaigns that drive growth and create a delightful and meaningful brand experience. You’ll be responsible for leading a world-class creative team in concepting, pitching, and producing written and visual collateral with an eye toward performance. You’ll be the steward for a high-growth brand that’s rapidly evolving and engaged in high-profile campaigns and partnerships.
You will:
- Lead the creative vision for all brand campaigns including but not limited to TV, OOH, audio, direct mail, email, and digital marketing as well as experiential activations and organic content
- Drive the achievement of creative goals and strategic solutions to meet brand and growth objectives
- Nurture a team of talented directors in design and video, as well as designers, copywriters, editors, and other creatives
- Interpret consumer insights into successful creative strategies
- Present creative concepts to internal and external partners, taking ownership of projects from inception of completion
- Communicate efficiently and directly with the creative, brand, growth, and product stakeholders
- Be accountable for high-fidelity work of all creative deliverables and ensure cohesion across all touchpoints
- Ensure innovation doesn’t stagnate and lead training and development of the creative team

- Tapped into culture and in the know with food, internet, and social trends
You have:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience within a creative agency or in-house environment; startup experience is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading and managing creative teams, developing and nurturing talent
- Superior written and verbal communication skills; strong concentration in copy and concepting
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of the food industry is a plus
