About the Job

For the role of Account Manager, BSG’s social team is seeking a unique and driven candidate with a passion for social media. The right person will have proven success as a social media manager, where they have led the development and growth of a brand or talent social media presence and have extensive experience creating content and writing for social audiences across various social platforms. All candidates must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years working in a digital role at a social media agency or entertainment platform.

Qualifications & Key Responsibilities include:

  • Mastery of and demonstrable experience managing and posting, content and strategy for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat and all relevant social platforms
  • Oversee and architect the social media calendars, vision, and voice of multiple prominent and high-profile brand or talent channels in the consumer product, entertainment and beauty space
  • Work directly with the digital team to help manage and drive forward-thinking strategy
  • Demonstrated experience in working with senior leadership and managing client relationships
  • Create, curate, and oversee monthly content calendars– ensuring the visuals and copy are on-brand, overall strategy is on track, and goals are met
  • Analyze performance and data into recommendations and guidance for future campaigns and iterate strategy accordingly
  • Experience with influencer or celebrity talent communications a plus
  • Ability to bring new ideas, experiment, iterate, and perfect
  • Be an enthusiastic and organized communicator to team, clients, and other partners
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with ability to be client key point of contact
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Willingness to “roll up sleeves” and execute programs from start to finish
  • Strong collaborative approach and team player

Requirements include:

  • 3 to 4 years experience in digital marketing or social media (agency, talent team, brand or media)
  • High-level of creativity to drive forward strategy, content and ideas
  • Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Expert in business development, client relations/liaison, communication, and expectation setting
  • Proactive, self-starter attitude
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills
  • Adept in Adobe Suite, G Suite, Microsoft and Keynote, as well as social media apps
  • High degree of leadership, organization, drive, energy and initiative
  • Experience with high-profile clients preferred
  • Experience in paid social media a plus

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
