Coordinator, Global Consumer Engagement
Position Summary
Key support role across all areas of Consumer Engagement Fashion Relations, media and influencer engagement, brand activation and support. Reporting to the Manager of Global Communications and Influencer Marketing, this role is integral to the whole Consumer Engagement team, supporting the entire team including 360° marketing, press/influencer outreach, Fashion Week/events, and day-to-day management of PR programs, partnering with social media to amplify engagements and creative toolkit support. Position will build relationships with the assistants at key media outlets and with social media influencers across beauty, fashion, and lifestyle.
Primary Responsibilities
- Send Outs- Responsible for assisting Director and Manager in day-to-day servicing of press and fashion outreach
- Responsible for keeping editorial product closet stocked and organized
- Building relationships with key cross-functional partners (Creative and Education) and other cross functional teams to ensure Global Consumer Engagement requirements are executed and received in a timely manner
- Editorial Reports - Responsible for tracking all Bumble and bumble press clippings in national, regional, and online outlets and assist in compiling quarterly Bb. Buzz share outs
- Support press initiatives by creating press materials for outreach to help increase the brand’s earned media value, including press opportunities relating to stylists and entertainment opportunities.
- Help build and maintain strong relationships with beauty/lifestyle/trade press to maximize brand awareness
- Compile and maintain evergreen media lists and lists specific to target audience and campaign goals
- Event production support as needed, including hosting editors and influencers backstage at Fashion Week
- Identifying, vetting, and briefing potential influencer partners by utilizing Influencer marketing tools like Tribe and Tagger and working with Social Media for amplification
- Work with Director and Manager to create press and influencer mailers
- Support Global Consumer Engagement team in preparing launch activation toolkits, key to driving successful launches across markets
- Handle invoicing for all vendors and influencers - responsible for tracking spend and liaising with Finance to ensure paperwork is accurately submitted and payment is received on time
Qualifications
- Previous experience (Internship or full time) at a fashion or beauty company
- Problem Solving and Critical thinking skills required
- Ability to work in a face-pace environment with aggressive project timelines
- Able to handle and resolve unexpected issues that may arise
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Always strives for excellence in execution - Highly organized and able to handle several projects at any given time
- Strong communication and computer skills. Word, Excel, Power point, Adobe photo shop.
- Interest in Marketing and Brand Management. General knowledge and interest in the hair and fashion industry, influencer marketing, social media activations and trends.
- Ability to work evening or weekend hours at specific times of heavy workload, specifically bi-yearly fashion weeks or events
