About The Role

The Influencer + Affiliate Manager will manage and lead a team in the day-to-day sourcing and execution of Act+Acres Influencer Programs across multiple social platforms. You will be on the front lines building relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors and commission based social media affiliates.

​​This role would be responsible for collaborating with our Creative and Marketing teams to create content that educates, builds community, and positions Geologie as a brand people love.

You will own our social media strategy and strike the right balance between product education, brand awareness, and community building. You will also work closely with our influencer team to reshare and amplify influencer stories. Lastly you will help find learnings and insights from performance and share these with the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively source, evaluate, pitch, and negotiate strong partnerships with influencers with an emphasis on mid-tier to macro creators at scale.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end influencer campaigns including framing the campaign strategy, curating talent, negotiating rates, managing contract development and influencer relationships, and reporting.
  • Support and foster long term relationships with our existing and new influencer partner
  • community.
  • Drive efficient performance that is tracked daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Contribute to performance reporting and campaign analytics with optimization strategy as a focus.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and recommend campaigns across a variety of paid and organic channels by collaborating with key business stakeholders and external Influencers (e.g. Brand, Paid Social, Creative, Data, etc.)
  • Help market new products, seasonal offerings, key company events, giveaways, and more to the digital world.
  • Actively identify and cultivate new communities of influencers as well as new channel expansion opportunities to reach our target customers and extend our reach.
  • Suggest new ways to innovate and enhance our influencer marketing approach, staying on top of the latest trends.
  • Develop and execute influencer and affiliate marketing programs and digital campaigns.
  • Test and build a scalable global influencer strategy.
  • Engage influencers across social platforms for sponsored content.
  • Manage the influencer and agent relationship from initial concept, to final contract signing and content delivery.
  • Create a pipeline / strategy for getting affiliates and set acquisition goals.
  • Create a commission structure that is best in class in industry.
  • Successfully manage affiliate relationships and grow them.
  • Explore feasibility of TikTok influencers and marketing.
  • Create and manage an annual influencer marketing budget.
  • End to end project management, including developing the strategy, partnering with internal and external stakeholders, developing assets, tracking, reporting results, and ongoing optimization.

Skill Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience, with at least 2-3 years dedicated to influencer performance marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media and influencer marketing with relevant tactical experience.
  • Dedicated experience in direct influencer communication across all social platforms.
  • Highly analytical with strong knowledge of Excel and Google Docs.
  • Preferred additional experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Strong negotiation skills and industry knowledge of performance-based influencer marketing.
  • Drive to find innovative and effective ways to excite and engage influencers with an emphasis on scaling the program.
  • Extremely strong written communication skills.
  • Desire to learn and grow with the company.
  • Passion for social media, the digital space, and health & wellness.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field from an accredited university.
  • 5+ years of DTC marketing management role; experience with beauty products is a huge plus.
  • A proven track record of leading Influencer Marketing strategies with proven success.
  • A track record of planning and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, digital advertising campaigns and successful PR efforts.
  • Competitive analysis experience.
  • Must have proven experience working effectively in a remote capacity.
