Responsibilities
- Design and implement social media strategy to scale brand and company awareness across all key stakeholders
- Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers on key social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok
- Act as a channel owner for all social media accounts (including knowing each channel’s best practices, deciding which content goes out where and when, and adapting content across channels)
- Manage and deliver on a weekly/monthly social media content and campaign calendar; work with content and creative teams to generate engaging and high performing social media content
- Creating weekly/monthly reports on KPIs across social media channels (and ad-hoc reports for major marketing campaigns, sponsorships, etc.)
- Implement social listening (including monitoring hashtags and branded keywords, detecting brand safety issues, identifying real-time marketing opportunities)
- Supporting influencer marketing efforts (such as identifying and selecting influencers, reposting content, and engaging with influencer posts)
- Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between followers and the company, and ensure a positive experience
- Guide best practices for social media adoption across the company (guidelines for employee sharing and posting to amplify corporate efforts)
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Requirements
- Degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
- Minimum of five years of experience working in social media management
- Experience in Education, Government, Politics, Non-Profit is a plus
- Hands-on experience managing multiple social media platforms (LI, Twitter, FB, IG, TikTok, YouTube)
- Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Hootsuite and HubSpot
- Relevant experience determining and attracting a target audience
- Hands on experience in content management
- Excellent copywriting skills, with a keen design eye
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills
