About The Job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and creating high-quality and engaging content to distribute on the appropriate platforms to drive business success. You will drive the editorial strategy for each of the Integrated Service business units with a brand publisher mindset. You’ll partner with agency thought leaders and internal creative teams to see your vision through, and establish editorial governance to ensure that our content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone. You will also partner closely with cross-functional teams leading our website, blog and social channels.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives.
  • Develop the editorial calendar and organize and manage workflows including delivery of content for owned and operated channels, social, partner teams and other cross-functional teams as needed
  • Develop and execute a framework for distribution of content across paid, owned and earned outlets to drive exposure to desired audiences, quality engagements, and growth
  • Have a pulse on trends and leaders in the social and influencer community
  • Measure and optimize content on an ongoing basis adapting materials based on performance insights
