Influencer Marketing Manager

We are seeking a socially and digitally savvy, well experienced marketer to develop and execute our influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns. Our Influencer Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining LG’s relationships with influencers (macro and micro) and brand ambassadors. This person should have a deep understand of vetting quality influencers that match with a particular marketing campaign in the electronics and appliances industries. This position will work directly with the Director of Social Media and the social media team to build and execute influencer marketing projects across multiple channels, including live events.

This candidate must have at least 3-5 years of digital and/or social media experience with excellent writing, communication and organization skills. Our Influencer Marketing Manager should be personable, presents a positive attitude, knows the influencer world and how to communicate and negotiate partnerships. An interest in appliances, kitchen makeovers, electronics, lifestyle, gaming, tech and family-centric content is preferred. Quickly learn and emulate the LG Voice to carefully evaluate influencers that match with our “Life Good” voice and tone.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Collect, identify, maintain communications and build relationships with possible influencers and thought leaders for LG Home Appliances and Home Electronics campaigns.
  • Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Attend and cover events to network and maintain relationships with venues, vendors and influencers.
  • Develop content ideas and curate social content.
  • Research relevant industry experts, competitors, target audiences and channels.
  • Deep understanding of social media and differentiation of content across channels.
  • Work with creative team to brainstorm new, creative approaches to influencer campaigns and live events at LG’s studio.
  • Work closely with internal team to document business scope, trends, ensure alignment with KPIs and report on content results.
  • Stay on the pulse of emerging trends, channel updates, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media marketing

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of different social platforms & communication tools
  • Proven track record in outreach campaign strategies and execution
  • Strong verbal and writing skills, a problem solver, great with time-management, analytical and project management skills.
  • 3-5 years in working in digital brand marketing, social media and/or outreach.
  • Personable, organized and pays close attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines, especially when it comes to reporting data.
  • Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite components, particularly in Power Point and Excel.
  • Ability to adapt and learn in a fast paced collaborative environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree marketing, communications or advertising is a must
