Responsibilities include:
- Drive strategic thinking on social media campaigns for the agency and agency clients.
- Develop social media plans inclusive of strategy, content strategy, platform recommendations, boosted post strategy, KPIs, etc.
- Develop and execute social media programs to include:
- Developing monthly editorial calendars
- Developing/creating social content including messaging and visual assets
- Managing social properties including posting, boosting posts, monitoring, active response, optimizations
- Develop and execute social media measurement and reporting to include hard metrics and insightful analysis.
- Collaborate with internal team on influencer marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and understand emerging platforms, social trends, industry developments and continually evolve social media work to reflect the changing landscape.
- Understand clients’ business/product/service, industry, customers, competitors and trends.
- Provide ongoing client consultation to bring greater value to client relationships.
- Participate in ideation sessions and actively bring new thinking/ideas to the table.
- Participate in new business presentations as needed.
- Ensure all agency deliverables meet the highest standards.
- Maintain communications with supervisor and rest of agency team.
Reporting Relationship
Reports to VP, Engagement & Influence.
Qualifications/Experiences:
- Education: BA/BS in communications, marketing or other suitable discipline
- 3-5 years’ social media experience; prior agency experience a plus
- Proficient across all social media platforms
- Proficient with social media tools
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Thrives in fast-paced environment and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
- Advanced PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
This is an exempt position.
This position requires in-person work at our Glastonbury, CT office.
