What We Need

We’re looking for a digital communication pro who has deep influencer and social media platform experience. This candidate has the opportunity to join a growing team as a strategic leader on the agency’s anchor account. You will be responsible for and focus on influencer marketing inclusive of social strategy, creative content development, account management and activation. The role requires a strong account lead who can deliver innovative thinking, author smart decks, troubleshoot client and team issues as well as oversee the health of the business from team utilization to client management.

Candidates must have relevant experience in the influencer marketing space, a passion for pop-culture and its infusion into the consumer brand ecosystem and have a strong background in social/digital marketing. The position will be responsible for the execution of day-to-day influencer marketing activities on behalf of clients, using influencers as brand advocates and content creators as well as building strategic plans that focus on a mix of data-driven and creative storytelling.

Job Functions

What you'll be doing at WE

    • Craft influencer strategies, own and drive the execution of each strategy as well as oversee the day-to-day management
    • Develop and oversee influencer marketing programs including but not limited to influencer/talent identification and outreach, content development, contract negotiation, paid amplification and campaign measurement
    • Identify creative ways to activate influencers through earned tactics
    • Create and maintain strong client relationships and with partner agencies
    • Be a leading and proactive voice during meetings by representing comprehensive influencer, paid, social and owned strategies
    • Play a key role in ongoing business development and growing accounts
    • Bring a strong POV to the table through active participation in brainstorms, client recommendations and leadership discussions
    • Play a large role in evangelizing our digital capabilities with internal teams, clients, and prospects
    • Team management including resource allocation and budgeting

Minimum/Preferred Requirements

What you've been able to accomplish

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field with 8+ years’ experience at a digital, advertising, media or PR agency (or similar role), and a deep understanding of social media and digital marketing, specifically developing and executing influencer programs
    • Passion for what’s happening in culture, uncovering the latest tools, trends and talent
    • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and problem-solving skills
    • Experience working with influencer networks, individual influencers and influencer identification, management, and measurement tools
    • Experience creating and executing organic and paid social and digital campaigns across social channels such as TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest, YouTube
    • Ability to establish strong client relationships and client service management
    • Experience managing, guiding, and training others
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with multiple teams
    • Experience with campaign and client financial management & reporting

  • Demonstrated creative and strategic mindset
  • Has established editor and/or analyst relationships and has proactively placed stories
  • Made presentations to groups of all sizes; pitched new business
  • Experience developing a team from the ground up
  • Client and business environment: Customer service orientation is a must. Job pressure may exist from requirement of handling multiple tasks
  • Experience working globally or with colleagues in multiple locations
  • Fast-paced team environment (frequent tight deadlines, multitasking, etc.)
  • Strong presentation and consulting skills along with the ability to read, write and speak English
