As Director of Influencer and Entertainment Marketing you’ll...
- be the lead to identify, foster, and activate our primary influencer relationships
- create the strategy and execute influencer marketing campaigns to grow brand awareness, credibility and emotional connections among our customers through groundbreaking partnerships with cultural icons, athletes, and other influencers.
- develop partnership strategy across athletes, cultural icons and strategic partners
- cultivate relationships across industries that could foster future partnerships
- keep a keen eye on sports and culture to develop future influencer partnership prospects
- oversee the development of fully integrated brand campaigns that leverage partnerships to increase Varo brand awareness, engagement and brand love
- evaluate and structure potential partnerships and build business cases for recommended opportunities that drive brand awareness and drive new customer acquisition
- serve as the main connection of these relationships, proficient at handling celebrities and elite athletes, and nurture and grow the relationship over time.
- lead the cross-functional team to activate all facets of key partnerships including media, marketing, PR, content, digital, social and customer experiences (among others)
- provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on partnerships strategy, execution and results
- leverage data, insights, and measurements tools to measure the success of individual partnerships and the partnership program

- understands the detailed cross-functional implications of partnership decisions.
- has experience in sports and celebrity marketing, with your ear to the ground for potential opportunities
- has great relationships and contacts in the sports and celebrity worlds
- understands multicultural consumer trends, insights, passion points and media content consumption behaviors
You Have The Following Required Experience...
- developing go to market plans around key initiatives
- excellent interpersonal and team leadership abilities
- 8-10+ years of brand partnership and communications experience, with a proven track record of creating campaigns and activating the partnerships across all channels of integrated marketing
- have executed influencer partnerships with A-list talent
- have managed activation budgets of at least $20MM
- Strong organizational, communication, and program management skills
