The Home & Lifestyle marketing team delivers inspirational, helpful content to customers, engaging them where they are already seeking ideas for their homes, families, and well-being. We use paid (social media, influencer marketing, Google Shopping) channels and onsite (gift guides, search) marketing to drive category discovery and purchase. We are seeking a marketing leader responsible for driving growth and engagement, optimizing events and onsite CX, and scaling successful programs across categories (including home décor, furniture, kitchen, pets, and Amazon Handmade).

You will lead and develop a team of marketers to innovate on the customer experience, elevate the Amazon Home brand, and experiment with new ways to reach customers via marketing channels. This role is inherently cross-functional, working closely with a central marketing that advertises on behalf of Amazon Home & Lifestyle, creative, innovation, user experience, and external agencies. This leader will develop the strategy for Home & Lifestyle marketing, including scalable programs, merchandising automation, KPI expansion, and continued process improvement.

The ideal candidate will need to think strategically and effectively communicate growth plans to senior executives, while simultaneously ensuring that mechanisms are in place to audit execution and performance. Strong candidates will have experience leading marketing organizations, notably a combination of automated marketing and brand-building programs. Candidates must be comfortable making data-informed decisions that have large impact, and evaluating tradeoffs to manage multiple milestones in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing direct reports into a highly capable and achieving team. The leader will need to effectively communicate to earn trust with partners and influence across multiple stakeholders, including technical teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 – 10 years of progressive marketing leadership, including strong experience in automated marketing, brand, social media, and influencer marketing
  • At least 5+ years of experience managing larger teams
  • Prove ability to translate customer and channel insights into new marketing opportunities to drive growth
  • Track record of delivering business results, shaping ambiguity into strategy, and innovative problem solving
  • Experience in developing and/or evaluating creative briefs and working with creative teams (internal and/or external)
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and creative abilities
  • Proven record of influencing multiple stakeholders and leaders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience partnering with Business Intelligence and/or Analyst teams
  • Deep familiarity with performance marketing and related efficiency metrics
