Talent Specialist, Acquisition & Experience

The Talent team is the newest department at Tribe, and excited to bring on its' second team member! You will be on a small, but mighty, team focused on delivering an outstanding candidate and employee experience. You'll partner with the Talent Manager on all things Talent related, including acquisition, onboarding, employee experience and development. We believe that people are our greatest asset, and we have the critical job of hiring, onboarding, and developing exceptional talent!
Our ideal candidate has previous experience as a Recruiting Coordinator, but is excited to expand their skillset into a full-cycle employee experience role. Responsibilities
- Providing one-of-a-kind candidate experience: Partner with the Talent Manager and hiring managers to build and refine our recruiting process to optimize for the best candidate experience.
- Coordination and scheduling at scale: You'll own coordination for the full lifecycle of company-wide candidate requests- scheduling a high volume of candidates in an organized, timely, and consistent manner all while providing a stellar candidate experience.
- Build out systems and processes: Lead and scale strategic programs which include interviewer capacity planning, candidate communications, and change management.
- Employee Experience & Onboarding: Assist the Talent Manager in the coordination and management of the new hire experience. You'll help schedule and expand upon our TribeU events and employee onboarding experience. Additionally, you'll partner closely with the Talent Manager for US-based event planning, gifting, and internal communications.
- Talent Development: Assist in the discovery of individual, team, and company-wide learning opportunities. You'll work closely with all teams to ensure that learning is at the core of our employee experience!
- Time zone coverage: As the Talent Manager is based out of the UK, you'll partner to ensure our candidates and colleagues have a point of contact to answer any scheduling needs or questions. You'll also serve as the voice of Talent during hours of which the Talent Manager isn't available, providing support and expertise to our internal teams.
- Manage agency partnerships: Partner closely with the VP of Growth in the management of agency referrals, providing timely communication and updates for both internal and external parties.
About You
- Experienced in the Talent world: 2+ years of experience with high-volume scheduling, onboarding, or employee experience.
- You have an eye for details: Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy is key.
- Process oriented: You love a good process. You have experience taking something messy or complicated, and building out a smooth experience for all involved.
- Tech savvy: Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems; we work with Lever! Bonus points if you have familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter as well!
- Trustworthy: Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive personal information and adhere to applicable security and privacy policies.

She was previously at Tribe in 2016 as an Account Manager, and returned in November 2020 as a Recruitment Consultant to shape and lead Talent Acquisition. - Clare Bruze k (she/her): Clare joined Tribe in April 2015, bringing her fashion background from Gap, Inc. to the (now defunct) Account Strategy team. Since then, she's built out teams and processes across the company: founding the small-but-mighty Data Operations team, launching Tribe's services in 10+ markets, and working $1M+ in overdue AR down to $0. - Navid Afshar (he/him): Navid joined Tribe this summer as the Finance Operations Manager. Navid brings a background of working remotely across all things Operations and you'll partner closely with him for anything employee policy related. Navid has a background in theatre as an experienced Stage and Production Manager prior to Operations, and is an active member of the #tribepets Slack channel.
