The Role
As the Manager, Global Events at Jellysmack you'll be supporting the company's strategic plan for all live events, experiential activations, and digital/online brand events worldwide. You will help execute the company's global events calendar and drive all aspects of event implementation. You will be supporting all regional marketing teams in establishing and bringing their event goals to life in a highly-elevated, creative, brand-right, and compelling way that drives results. You will play an important role in vetting, hiring and managing external agencies for event design, production, staffing, and other services with guidance from the Director of Global Events with regional marketing teams.
The key goals of this role are to support topline brand awareness and interest (lead generation) for Jellysmack with leading video content creators/influencers, talent representatives, potential media and brand partners, licensees, employees and other prospective stakeholders.
You will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders of the organization including, but not limited to, Design/Creative Services, Creator Partnerships, Creator Success, Brand Marketing, and Social Media.
The Responsibilities
The Manager of Global Events will support and lead on events, including, but not limited to:
- Planning and implementing events from start-to-finish
- Managing event logistics including venue research, catering, A/V, run of show development, overall project coordination and wrap-up reports
- Vendor identification, vetting, and management
- Support on budget management and tracking
- Support on building project decks, briefing documents and hubs
- Travel & accommodations coordination including room blocks, transportation, travel forms for staff and talent
- Build and manage RSVP pages via Splash That
- Source swag for events, creator gifting, etc.
- Manage post-event marketing/communications (‘thank you for coming' emails, feedback surveys, gifting, etc.)
- Analyzing event feedback and data to measure whether event goals were achieved

- Creator-driven conferences (e.g., VidCon, VidSummit, Playlist Live)
- Media conferences (e.g., MIPCOM, CES)
- Creator meet-ups, dinners, and parties
- Award shows and after-parties
- Employee/corporate events and parties
- Webinars, panels, and other speaking opportunities for thought-leadership
- Educational, training, and workshops for emerging and established creators
Requirements:
The Qualifications
The right person for this role is an experienced event marketer and self-starter, who is well-versed in the creator economy, influencer marketing, entertainment, digital media, social media, and pop-culture.
- 4-5+ years of experiential marketing experience
- Well-versed in the creator economy, influencer marketing, entertainment, digital media, social media, and pop-culture
- Experience working with or managing experiential or production agencies
- Experience in navigating and managing cross-functional relationships within and outside an organization
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills needed for drafting and briefs, internal presentations, and emails
- Detail-oriented; strong ability to prioritize
- Understands the importance of brand integrity and image
- Able to cope with job pressure and ambiguity, and comfortable operating against rigorous deadlines
- Enjoy and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial work environment
- Interested in and available to travel domestically and abroad to support event execution

This is a United States based position. Due to the global nature of the role, we are looking for an individual who has a high interest in both domestic and international travel, as well as the willingness and ability to flex their schedule to operate on regional/local time zones and schedules to accomplish their tasks.
In order to make sure you get the best working environment, you will get a $300 / EUR 250 allowance to get set up.
