We are looking for a Brand Communications Manager to join the Global Brand Communications team in Portland, OR. The Brand Communications Manager will contribute to the development of integrated global brand campaigns to inspire all people through the brand attitude of the adidas brand.

The Team

We’re a nimble group responsible for high visibility Global Brand campaigns (Check out our most recent brand campaign to introduce “Impossible is Nothing”). You’ll be collaborating daily with channel experts, agency partners, Sports Marketing, Entertainment & Influencer Marketing, production teams, global brand design and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Communications partner to the integrated and cross-functional teams in developing seasonal brand campaigns that drive brand love and lead to effective communication activities.
  • Support the development of campaign strategies and manage the creative development of a seasonal brand campaign based on the annual comms objectives
  • Assist in the development of execution plans and campaign tools from briefing, content production to implementation ensuring all campaigns are on brief, deliver on time and meet the highest creative standards
  • Maintain a deep operational relationship with market brand activation teams in the process of creative development and market update process
  • In partnership with relevant team members, drive cross functional team process with Newsroom, digital, retail and event marketing specialists to ensure a consistant, consumer relevant message is brought to life across all key touchpoints.
  • Manage consumer knowledge and competition knowledge tools and processes with internal and external partners.
  • Coordinate campaign/activation recaps and post mortems, identifying and sharing key learnings, analytics delivery against KPIs and best practice sharing

Who We Are Looking For

You’re a creative problem solver at heart, there’s always a way forward. You have a background in integrated campaign development and have managed the process of content creation (TV, print, retail, digital, social, OOH, etc.) for a global brand either at an agency or in-house.

  • Ability to effectively organize and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.), with an emphasis in Communications/Marketing/Business preferred, and
  • 5+ years sports or other product marketing or related experience in the Sporting Goods Industry
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree
